And among His signs is the creation of the skies and the earth and the difference in your languages and your colors. Certainly there are signs in that for the learned. (Al Quran, Surah Ar Rum, Chapter 30: Verse 22)
In the Quran, Muslims are instructed not to discriminate people based on languages, skin color, financial status, their understanding, intelligence, etc. the following verses instructs Muslims regarding social behaviour, to avoid discrimination and mentions that the differences in human beings are only for distinguishing people one from the other:
O you who believe! do not let (some) people consider (other) people lower than (themselves), it may be that (the other people) are better than them, nor let (some) women, (consider other)women (lower than themselves), it may be that (the other women) are better than them. And do not find fault (among) yourselves, nor call (one another) by nicknames, (even taking) the name of transgression is an evil after (having) believed, and those who do not repent, then those are the persons who are unjust.
O you who believe! avoid much of suspicion, (because) suspicion in some (cases) is certainly a sin, and do not spy (being inquisitive about the secrets of others) and do not backbite one another, would anyone of you love to eat the flesh of his dead brother? You dislike it! And fear Allah, Allah is certainly the Accepter of repentance, Merciful.
O mankind! We created you from a male and a female and made you nations and tribes that you may recognize each other (as to who belongs to which nationality or tribe. But) the most honoured of you with Allah is certainly the one who guards most (against evil), Allah is certainly Knowing, Informed (Al Quran, Surah Al Hujurat, Chapter 49: Verses 11-13)
So, the bottom line is all human beings are related to each other, nations and tribes have been made for identification and not for discrimination. In the following verses, Allah (SWT) mentions some of His Attributes and Powers on which people who are learned and who can understand should reflect and obey His orders:
He brings forth the living from the dead and He brings forth the dead from the living, and He gives life to the earth after its death, and thus you (too) will be brought out (again).
And among His signs is that He created you from the soil then (after that) now you are human beings (who) are scattered (far and wide).
And among His signs is that He created from among yourselves mates for you that you might find tranquility in them, and He placed between you love and mercy. Certainly there are signs in that for a people who reflect.
And among His signs is the creation of the skies and the earth and the difference in your languages and your colors. Certainly there are signs in that for the learned.
And among His signs is your sleeping at night, and the day when you seek from His grace. Certainly there are signs in that for people who listen.
And among His signs is that He shows you the lightning for fear and hope and He sends down water from the sky, then gives life through it to the earth after its death. Certainly there are signs in that for a people who understand.
And among His signs is that the sky and the earth subsist by His command, then when He calls you (with) a (single) call, at that time you will come out of the earth.
And His is whoever (whatever) is in the skies and the earth, all are obedient to Him.
And He it is Who begins the creation then gets it reproduced, and that is easiest for Him and His is the Highest Similitude in the skies and the earth, and He is the Mighty, the Wise.
(Al Quran, Surah Ar Rum, Chapter 30: Verses 19-27)
Imagine the creation of Human Beings in such a way that each one of us looked alike, same facial features, voice, skin color, hair style and color, finger prints, iris patterns, height and wieght with same capabilities and capacities, each one even thinked alike, spoke the same language, had the same like story, more like products coming out of a factory. Is this a better creation or the current one, each one looks different, each one of us have different facial features, voice, skin color, different hair styles and color, finger prints, iris patters, heights and weights vary to a great degree, each one of us have different capabilities, capacities, we think differently, some groups speak different languages, our destinies and life stories are different, all of these differences is what we must all appreciate. This is exactly what makes our lives easy to live, we depend on each other. Allah SWT says in the Quran:
His are the keys of the skies and the earth, He enlarges the provision for whom He wills and straitens (it for whomever and whenever He wills), He is certainly the Knower of everything. (Al Quran, Surah Ash Shura, Chapter 42: Verse 12)
And were it not that (the whole of) mankind would have become one community, We would have made for those who do not believe in the Beneficent (Allah), their houses with roofs of silver and the stairs (too, climbing) on which they go up, (Al Quran, Surah Az Zukhruf, Chapter 43: Verse 33)
Were all Human Beings made rich, who would have worked – None! The difference in provision is made so that we use each other for work. The differences in Human Beings is to test us:
And We have sent down to you the book (Quran) containing the truth, a confirmation of what was before it of the book (Divine Law) and a guardian over it (earlier Divine Law), so judge between them by that which Allah has sent down and do not follow their desires (turning away) from the truth which has come to you. For everyone of you We have appointed a law and a way (to follow the law). And had Allah willed He would have made you a single community, but (He did not do so) to test you through that which He has given you, so compete in good deeds. Towards Allah is your return, of all (of you), then He will inform you about that in which you used to differ. (Al Quran, Surah Al Maidah, Chapter 5: Verse 48)
It is impossible to imagine a world where all people are alike, the differences in us is what makes life possible! Stop discriminating people.
