أَفَلَا يَتَدَبَّرُونَ الْقُرْآنَ أَمْ عَلَى قُلُوبٍ أَقْفَالُهَا
 

Do they not reflect on the Quran or there are locks on their hearts (47:24)
 
For people who do not reflect on its verses it calls their hearts being locked. In another verse it says:
 
لَوْ أَنزَلْنَا هَذَا الْقُرْآنَ عَلَى جَبَلٍ لَّرَأَيْتَهُ خَاشِعًا مُّتَصَدِّعًا مِّنْ خَشْيَةِ اللَّهِ وَتِلْكَ الْأَمْثَالُ نَضْرِبُهَا لِلنَّاسِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ
 

If We had sent down this Quran on a mountain, you would have seen it fallen down splitting asunder due to the fear of Allah. And these are similitude’s We set forth for mankind that they may reflect. (59:21)
 
Even rocks would humble themselves if Quran is sent down on them; the Holy Quran provides ample examples for people to reflect on it. May Allah accept our efforts and soften our hearts through His book.
