IHDINA ( You guide us ) 1:5 اِهْدِنَا

Lafz-e-Ihdina ka maddah ya root (ه د ى) hai, issi root se Lafz-e-Huda bhi hai jiss ke maane Guidance, hidayat ya rehnuma’i hum urdu me kehte hain.[15]

  • hidayat kisi achi cheez ki taraf so sakti hai,[16] ya kisi buri cheez ki taraf ho sakti hai,[17]
  • Asal hidayat, asal rehnumai to sirf Allah ki taraf se, achai ki taraf hidayat hai,[18] aur ye hidayat Quran me maujood hai,[19] aur iss hidayat par amal karke Muhammadur Rasoolullah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ne dikha diya.[20]
  • Aur Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم) kaun hain? Allah ke Rasool hain,[21] jin par Quran nazil huwa.
  • Quran me jo hidayat hai, uss ki itteba karna, theek ussi tareeqe se, jaisa ke Rasoolullah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ne hume bataya hai, wo aisa hi hai jaisa ke Seedhe Raaste par chalna, jo jannat ko le jata hai.[22]
  • Iss ke bar-aks, shaitan ke waswason ki itteba karna, dozaq ke raaste par chalna hai.[23]
  • Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى) jis ko chahta hai, hidayat deta hai,[24] aur ye hidayat, hidayat paane walon ke liye uss ka inaam hai, uss ka ehsaan hai.[25]
  • Agar Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى) chahte to saari insaaniyat ko seedhe raaste ki taraf hidayat kar dete.[26]
  • Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى) ne har cheez ko paida kiya, uss me tawazun, equilibrium khayem kiya, taqdeer banayi yani har cheez ka program banaya, aur hidayat kar di ke uss ki taqdeer, uss ke program ki itteba ho.[27]
  • al-Hadi, Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى) ki sifaton me se ek sifat hai, jis ka matlab “The Guide” ke hai.[28]
  • Aur Lafz-e-Hadiya ka matlab gift, tohfa ke hain.[29] Iss ke pesh-e-nazar, neki ya achhai ki taraf Hidayat bhi Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى) ka tohfa hai.[30]
  • Ek hadith me ata hai ke, Sab se achi baat Allah ki kitab hai, aur behtareen hidayat, behtareen tareeqa, Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ka tareeqa hai. Aur sab se buri nayee baat, bidat paida karna hai, deen me nayee cheezen ijaad karna hai, aur bila shubha jis ka tum se wada kiya jaata hai, wo aa kar rahegi aur tum, apne paalne wale malik se bach kar kahin nahi ja sakte. [31]
  • Aap (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ne farmaya, Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى) se hidayat aur sahih maqsad ke liye dua karo, hidayat ya rehnumayi maangte waqt, safar ke dauran directions ke baare me sonche, aur munasib maqsad maangte waqt, teer ke nishane ke baare me sonche.[32]
  • Phir aap (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ye dua karte the, Allahumma inni as’alukal-huda wat- tuqa wal-‘afafa wal-ghina, Aye Allah, main tujh se hidayat, parhezgaari, paakeezgi, aur khud-mukhtari maangta hoon.[33]
    • Ek aur hadith me Ali (رَضِيَ ٱللَّٰهُ عَنْه) se riwayat hai ke, Rasoolullah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ne unhe ye dua sikhayee; Allahumma ihdini wa saddidni, Aye Allah, Mujhe Sirat al-Mustaqeem par chala aur uss par qaim rakh.[34]
  • Ek aur Muslim Shareef ki hadith me ata hai ke, Azan ke saath Masjid me namaz parrhna, hidayat ka hissa hai, aur jiss kisi ne apne gharon me namaz ada ki, aur masajid se door rahe, uss ne Rasool ki sunnat ko chhorrh diya, aur Rasoolullah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ki sunnat se doori, gumrah kar deti hai…[35]
  • Rasoolullah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ne farmaya ke, jo shaks doosron ko dawat deta hai sahih hidayat ko follow karne ke liye, usay bhi uss ki pairwi karne walon ke ajr ke barabar ajr milega, doosron ke ajr me koi kami nahi hogi.[36]
  • Ye hadith kisi ne apne bayan me sunaya tha, aur reference nahi diya tha, wo aaj al-Hamdulillah mil gayee, ye hadith aaj ke halaat ke hisab se hai, modern day slavery me ghulamo ko kaise azad karenge? farmaya Rasoolullah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ne ke, jiss kisi ne kisi zaroorat mand ki madad ki;
    • Chahe wo doodh ke liye janwar de diya,
    • Chahe wo Paise qarz par diya, obviously bina sood ka qarz diya, ya
    • kisi ko raasta dikhaya, uss ko guide kiya, hidayat ki
    • ye teen kaam aise hain, jaisa ke ek ghulam azad kiya.[37]

Hidayat ka matlab, raasta batana hai, raaste par chalana nahi;

  • Baaz log, jab unhe neki ki dawat di jaati hai to, ye kehte hain ke, hume hidayat nahi huwi, jab milegi to hum bhi nek kaam kar lenge,
  • Jaisa ke humne abhi suna, Quran Allah ki hidayat hai, aur ye hamare gharon me maujood hai,
  • Ab iss ko parrhna, uss ko samajhna aur uss par amal karna hamari zimmadari hai,
  • Agar hum kisi se pata poochhte hain, to wo kya karta hai, directions de deta hai, landmarks bata deta hai, C-Ring → Deccan Deewan.
  • Hum chahte hain ke, wo shaks haath pakad kar Deccan Deewan le jaye, aur khana bhi khilaye.
  • To hum Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى) se kya ummeed rakhte hain, ke wo aa kar hume bataye ya haath pakad kar nek kaam hum se karwaye?

Ye hidayat nahi huwi, hidayat ka matlab raasta bata dena hai, to kaha ke Sirat al-Mustaqeem ki taraf hume hidayat ki jiye,

[31] Narrated `Abdullah: The best talk (speech) is Allah’s Book ‘Qur’an), and the best way is the way of Muhammad, and the worst matters are the heresies (those new things which are introduced into the religion); and whatever you have been promised will surely come to pass, and you cannot escape (it).

[32] It was narrated from Abu Burdah bin Abi Musa that `Ali (رضي الله عنه) said: The Prophet (ﷺ) said: `Ask Allah, may He be exalted, for guidance and proper aim. When asking for guidance, think of directions when travelling, and when asking for proper aim, think of aiming an arrow.”

[35] Ibn Mas’ud (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: He who likes to meet Allah tomorrow (i.e., on the Day of Requital) as a Muslim, should take care and observe the Salat when the Adhan is announced for them. Allah has expounded to your Prophet (ﷺ) the ways of right guidance, and these (the prayers) are part of the right guidance. If you have to perform Salat in your houses, as this man who stays away (from the mosque) and performs Salat in his house, you will abandon the Sunnah (practice) of your Prophet (ﷺ), and the departure from the Sunnah of your Prophet (ﷺ) will lead you astray. I have seen the time when no one stayed behind except a well-known hypocrite. I also saw that a man was brought swaying (on account of weakness) between two men till he was set up in a row (in the mosque). [Muslim].

[36] Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, “He who calls others to follow the Right Guidance will have a reward equal to the reward of those who follow him, without their reward being diminished in any respect on that account.” [Muslim].
