al-HAMD (Tareef – The praise) 1:1 الحَمْد

al-Hamd ka maddah ya Root (ح م د) hai aur iss ko hamare ustaad Dr. Anees ne apni kitab The Explanatory Dictionary of the Quran me samjhaya ke,

  • Surah aal-Imran ki 188th Ayat me aya hai ke, Tareef to sirf uss ki honi chahiye, jo kuch acha kaam kare,[4]
  • Aur kyun ke, Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى) hi hai jo sab kuch karta hai, iss liye (الحَمدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ العَالَمِين), tamam tareef Allah ke liye hain, jo alameen ka paalne wala malik hai,[5]
  • Aur jiss lafz ke aage, “AL” laga ho, wo poori ya saari ke ehsas ko zahir karta hai,
  • To Hamd kya hai – Tareef hai, al-Hamd kya hai, Tamam Tareef, Saari ki Saari Tareef,
  • Quran me, Surah Fatir ki pehli ayat me farmaya ke, Allah ne iss kayenaat ki takhleeq ka aghaaz kiya, Allah,…, Initiator of Creation hai, wohi iss ko paalte hain…[6]
  • Aur Surah Saba ki pehli ayat me farmaya ke, iss kayenaat ki har cheez Allah ki hai,…[7]
  • Aur issi liye iss kayenaat ki har cheez Allah ki hamd, uss ki tareef bayan karti hai.[8]
  • Quran me, kayee jagah par, al-Hamd ke maane shukr ke aaye hain,[9] to iss aitebaar se, Tamam Shukr bhi Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى) ke liye hai, kyun ke, ye sab kuch uss ne banaya hai.
  • Jo log Allah ki hamd aur uss ki tareef karke, uss ka shukr ada nahi karte, wo na-shukri aur ghuroor ka muzahera karte hain.[10] aur
  • Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى) apne bando me ye sifaat pasand nahi karta,[11]
  • Balke Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى) ne hume Quran me, Surah az-Zumar ki 58th ayat me, hukum diya hai ke,

وَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى ٱلْحَىِّ ٱلَّذِى لَا يَمُوتُ وَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِهِۦ ۚ …

  • Aur aap (صلى الله عليه وسلم) uss (Allah par jo) zinda hai bharosa rakhiye, jisse kabhi maut nahi aati, aur uss ki hamd, uss ki tareef aur shukr ke saath tasbeeh karte rahiye,…[12]
  • Doosre alfaz jo Hamd se jude huwe hain, jo Quran me aye hain, uss me;
    • Lafz-e-Hameed hai, jo ke Allah ke khubsurat naamo me se ek naam hai, jiss ke maane hai, wo jo tareef ke qabil ho,[13]
    • Phir Lafz-e-Ahmed[14] aur Lafz-e-Muhammad,[15] bhi issi madde se, issi root se bane huwe hain, ye dono naam Quran me Rasoolullah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ke liye aye hain, jiss ka matlab, jiss ki tareef ki jaati hai.
    • Lafz-e-Mahmood, jiss ka matlab, jiss ki tareef ki gayee ho.

Kayenaat ki har cheez Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى) ki tareef aur shukr ada kar rahi hai. Lekin hum unn ki hamd-o-sana, unn ki tasbeeh jo wo karte hain, nahi samajh sakte. Issi lehaz se, Rasoolullah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ne bhi Allah ki tareef aur shukr karna sikhaya, beshumar ahadith ke zariye, uss ki chand misaalein iss liye sunayi ja rahi hain, takay hum bhi iss par amal karein;

  • Neend se jaagne ke baad, ye dua parrhna hai,

الحَمْـدُ لِلّهِ الّذي أَحْـيانا بَعْـدَ ما أَماتَـنا وَإليه النُّـشور

Tamam tareef aur shukr Allah ke liye hai, jiss ne hume zindagi di hume maut dene ke baad aur hum ussi ki taraf lautaye jayenge.[16]

  • Issi tarah ki aur bhi dua’en hain neend se badaar hone ki.[17]
  • Qarz wapas mil jaane par, aap (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ne dua sikhayi,[18] ye saari dua’en Hisnul Muslim me mil jayenge.
  • Namaz shuru karne par, dua’en sikhayi, jiss me Allah ki hamd-o-sana hai,[19]
  • Namaz khatam karne par, tasbeeh jo hum parrhte hain, uss me

33 times سُـبْحانَ اللهِ – والحَمْـدُ لله – واللهُ أكْـبَر –

لا إلهَ إلاّ اللّهُ وَحْـدَهُ لا شريكَ لهُ لهُ الملكُ ولهُ الحَمْد وهُوَ على كُلّ شَيءٍ قَـدير

hum parrhte hain.[20]

  • Jab koi achi khabar sunte to aap (صلى الله عليه وسلم) kehte,

الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي بِنِعْمَتِهِ تَتِمُّ الصَّالِحَاتُ

Tamam tareef, Allah ke liye hai, jiss ki barakat se tamam achi cheezen mukammal hoti hain.

  • Aur jab koi buri khabar sunte to aap (صلى الله عليه وسلم) kehte,

الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ عَلَى كُلِّ حَالٍ

Har haal me tamam tareef aur shukr Allah hi ke liye hai.[21]

  • Naye kapde pehenne par Allah ki tareef ki, dua parrhi,[22]
  • Sone se pehle, tasbeeh-e-Fatima (رَضِيَ ٱللَّٰهُ عَنْهَا) parrhne ka hukum diya, Tasbeeh-e-Fatima kya hai?[23]

سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ (33 baar) وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ (33 baar) وَاللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ (34 (baar

  • Khana khatam karne ke baad Allah ki tareef ki, dua parrhi,[24]
  • Kisi ko takleef me dekha, to Allah ki tareef uss ka shukr ada kiya ke Allah ne mujhe – aisi museebat se door rakha,[25]
  • Sawari par ya gaadi mein baithne par Allah ki tareef ki, dua parrhi,[26]
  • Phir aap (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ne farmaya, behtareen dua, (الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ) hai, aur behtareen zikr (لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ) hai.[27]
  • Ek aur hadith me aap (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ne farmaya ke, jo reh-jaane wale ache-amaal hain, wo hain; [28]

(سبحان الله) و(الحمد لله )، و(لا إله إلا الله)، و(الله أكبر) ،و (لا حول ولا قوة إلا بالله)

  • To aise hi kayi ahadith hain, aap (صلى الله عليه وسلم) hume Allah ki tareef kaise karna hai, sikhaya, aur hume uss par amal karna hai. Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى) inn amal ko hamari zindagiyon me lagoo karne wala banaye, Ameen.

(الحَمدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ العَالَمِين) ke mane tamaam tareef aur tamaam shukr Allah ke liye hai jo aalameen ka rabb hai. Lafze Allah hum Bismillahi ki tafseer me sunn chuke hain, to ye Rabb kaun hai:
