Aoozu Billahi as-Samee al-Aleemi minash Shaitanir Rajeem

Bismillah,…, Alhamdulillahi wahdah was salaatu was salaamu ala man la nabiya ba’adah

Rabbish sharah li sadri wa yassirli amri wahlul uqdatam min lisaani yafqahu qauli

As Salaamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu

Pichle dars me hum Surah al-Baqarah ki 15wi aur 16wi ayaat ki tafseer sunn rahe the, jis me subject change ho kar khareed-o-farokht aur business ki taraf divert ho gaya, aaj ke dars me hum 16wi ayat ki tafseel aagay sunenge.

Tarjuma wa Tafseer

Ab yahan ye sawal paida hota hai ke, ye lafz-e-ashtarawu aur aage tijarat kyun istemal hua hai? Yahan to human psychology ki baat aa rahi hai, to kuch points jo samajh me aaye wo ye hain ke;

  • Pehli cheez to ye hai ke, Insaan ka iss duniya me jo tajruba hai, jo experience hai, wo ya to faide se linked hai ya nuqsan se,
    • To hum ye do cheezen bohot achi tarah samajh sakte hain, Faida aur Nuqsan
    • Aur issi ke chalte, Shaitan ke bhatkawe me aa ker, issi faide aur nuqsan ke chakkar me shirk karne lagte hain,
    • Ilaha ke definition me Quran kehta hai ke, Ilaha wo shakhsiyat hai jo faida pahuncha sakti hai ya nuqsan.
    • To insaan agar kisi ki pooja kar raha hai, uss ki ibadat kar raha hai, to wo ya to faide ki ummeed me uss ilaha ko maanta hai ya nuqsan se darr kar.
  • Doosri baat ye hai ke, Baghair Business ke, ya baghair tijarat ke hamari zindagi possible nahi hai, roz marra ki zindagi me dekh lijiye,
    • Ghar ki rozana ki zaroorat poora karne market se saman khareeday baghair hamari zindagi poori nahi ho sakti,
    • Aur zindagi guzaarne ke liye, paise chahiye, to kuch na kuch bechna padega, tijarat karni padegi, business karna padega aur koi apni services bech raha hai, to koi saman khareed kar bech raha hai,
    • To bina tijarat ke, hamari zindagi possible nahi hai,
  • Teesri baat ye hai ke, aaj ke zamane me, lafz-e-islam ko hum apne business me lana nahi chahte hain, kyun ke, jaise hi hum deen ki baat karte hain, to log samajhte hain ke, nuqsan hona shuru ho jata,
    • Finance me Champion honge, lekin haram aur halal kya hai hume nahi maloom,
    • Baaz log aise hain ke, wo apne services bech kar paise kamate hain, yani hum jaise log jo job karte hain, aur jo paise bach jaate hain hum investment ki sonchte hain,
    • Stock market – halal stocks ki industry aaj boom kar rahi hai, lekin hume ye nahi pata ke, kya waqay wo stocks halal hai ya nahi?
  • Chohti baat ye hai ke, hamari psychology – hamara dimagh jis tareeqe se wired hai, uss me hum nuqsan ke darr se, itna ghabrate hain – aur iss masle me agar hum logon me Allah par bharosa nahi hai,
    • To phir iss ke nataij bohot serious level tak pahunch jaate hain,
    • Unn ka jo bhi experience hai, wo iss mamele ko aur bhi zyada pareshan kun bana sakta hai, aur
    • Baaz logon ko Psychiatric treatment ki zaroorat parrh sakti hai,
    • Aur iss ke bar-khilaf baaz log, apne business transactions me itni safety chahte hain, aur aise hi investments karna chahte hain, jis me koi risk nahi hai,
    • Aur ek category logon ki aisi hai, jo Allah miya ko trick karna chahte hain, wo ulama par poora bharosa karte hain, fatwe lete hain, aur agar fatwa unn ke faide ka mil gaya to wo aise business me paisa laga rahe hain, jo mumkin hai ke haram hai, aur uss business transaction ki saari zimmadari wo ulama par daal rahe hain. Ye bhi ghalat kaam hai.
  • Panchwi baat iss me ye hai ke, paise kamane ke liye Quran ko bhi nahi chhorrhe, youtube par upload kar rahe hain aur uss se paisa kama rahe hain, kyun ke, baaz qariyon ko log zyada sunte hain aur uss ki wajah se Youtube paise de raha hai. Quran chalte chalte ads ana shuru ho jaate hain, thoday se faide ke liye, Quran ko bech rahe hain,
  • Iss duniya ki haqeeqat, jaisa ke aap (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ne Sahih Muslim ki hadith me hume batayi, wo ye hai ke, Allah ke saamne iss duniya ki haisiyat ek mare huwe bakri ke bache se bhi kum hai, jis ke kaan chhotte thay.[1] Aur Iss duniya ke liye, jis ki ye haqeeqat hai, hum Quran ko bech rahe hain, aakhirat ka nuqsan ka sauda kar rahe hain…
  • Ek lambi list ban sakti hai, aaj kal ke masle masail par…
  • To Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى) iss ayat me aakhirat ke nuqsan ki baat kar rahe hain, farmaya ke,

Vs. No. 16 Contd…

Ye wo log hain, jinhone hidayat chhorrh kar gumrahi khareed li, to na unn ki tijarat (ya ye deal) hi ne nafa (ya koi profit) diya aur na wo hidayat hasil karne wale banay (ya ye hargiz sahih raaste par nahi hain).

Iss ayat ke pehla lafz ki tafseel chal rahi hai, pichle dars me humne Qurani ayaat aur chand ahadith sunay thay Lafz-e- Ashtarau par,

63. ASHTARAWU ( They purchase ) اَشْتَرَوُا ( ش ر ى ) 2:16 Cont’d…

Khareedne ke mutalliq hi aur bhi ahadith aa rahi hain:

Ghalla Khareedne ke Ahkaam
  • Pichle dars me ghalla khareedne par ahadith humne suni,
  • Muwatta Imam Malik ki hadith, Sayeed Ibn Musayyab aur Sulaiman bin Yasaar mana karte the, iss baat se, koi shakhs gehoo ko sonay ke badle me beche jis me saman pehle le lein aur sona baad me de, delayed payment terms par, aur phir uss sonay ke iwaz sooki khajoor khareede, iss se pehle ke sona hath me aye.[2]
    • Hamare poore transactions udhaar par chal rahe hain, delayed payment terms par chal rahe hain, log pehle cheque lete hain, uss cheque ko le ja kar bank me waqt se pehle deposite karte hain aur uss par loan lete hain aur sood ada karte hain.
Exchanging Like for like is Riba
  • Pichle dars me humne khajoor exchange karne par mumaniyat suni thi, aur humne kaha tha ke, aur bhi ahadith hain jo like for like exchange karne se mana karte hain, kyun ke, aap (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ne farmaya ke ye Riba hai,
  • Nasai ki hadith, ek waqt aap (صلى الله عليه وسلم) apne sahaba ke sath safar par the, aur Eid al-Adha ka din aya, to sahaba (رَضِيَ ٱللَّٰهُ عَنْهم) bakre khareedne lage, aur ek Musinnah bakre ke liye do ya teen Jadh’ah bakre exchange kar rahe the, iss par aap (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ne farmaya ke, ek jadháh bakra kaafi hai jis ke liye ek thani kaafi hai.[3]
    • Yani qurbani ho jayegi, aur ye exchange karne se mana farmaya.
Ariyya Khajoor exchange karne ki ijazat
  • Sahih Muslim ki hadith, Zaid bin Thabit (رَضِيَ ٱللَّٰهُ عَنْه) farmate hain ke, Rasoolullah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ne ijazat di, concession diya, taza khajoor jo darakht par hain, unhe Ginn kar ya estimate laga kar) apne ghar walon ke liye ek miqdaar sookhe khajoor de kar exchange karne ke liye.[4]
    • Aam taur par like for like transaction mana hain, lekin al-ariyya jo khajoor ki transaction hai, wo aap (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ne ijazat di khareedne ke liye.
    • Lekin uss me darakht par jo khajoor hai, wo estimate karna chahiye, bina estimation ke, ya bina gine ke nahi.
Janwar Khareedna
  • Bukhari, Muslim, Abu Dawood, Tirmidhi, Ibn Majah aur Ahmed ki hadith, Rasoolullah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ne Urwa al-Bariqi (رَضِيَ ٱللَّٰهُ عَنْه) ko ek Dinar diya Udhiya ka janwar ya bakra khareedne ke liye, unhone do bakre khareede aur ek bakra bech diya ek Dinar me aur Rasoolullah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ko Ek Bakra aur Ek Dinar la kar diya. Aap (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ne unhe barkat ki dua di unn ke business dealings me, to wo iss tarah the ke, agar matti bhi khareedte to uss me unhe faida hota tha.[5]
Qurani ayaat ko samjhane…
  • Adab al-Mufrad ki hadith, Ibn Abbas (رَضِيَ ٱللَّٰهُ عَنْه) Surah Luqman ki 6tti ayat {وَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَنْ يَشْتَرِي لَهْوَ الْحَدِيثِ‏} aur logon me baaz aise hain jo behooda batein khareed kar laate hain…,[6] ki tafseer me farmate hain ke ye, gaane yani songs aur uss jaisi cheezon ke baare me hai.[7]
    • Aaj se kuch saal pehle tak, gaane khareedne parrhte the, aaj to har jagah free me bhi mil rahe hain,
    • Aur ab youtube, soundcloud aur aise applications me paid versions bhi aa rahe hain, to log gaane sunne ke liye, paise de kar khareed rahe hain.
Ghulamo.n ko khareedna
  • Bukhari ki hadith, ek shakhs ne apne ek ghulam ko apne marne ke baad ki shart ke sath azaad kiya,
    • Lekin ittefaq se, wo shakhs muflis ho gaya, to Nabi kareem (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ne uss ke ghulam ko liya jisay Nu’aim bin Abdullah ne khareeda aur aap ne ghulam ko unn ke hawale kar diya.[8]
    • Bukhari ki ek aur hadith me ata hai ke, uss shakhs ne maut ke baad ghulam azad karne ki qasam khayee thi, to iss liye Rasoolullah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ne uss ke ghulam ko becha.[9]
    • Wo shakhs kyun ke, qasam khayee huwi thi, to aap (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ne uss ke ghulam ko becha. Takay uss ki qasam na tootte,
    • Aisa nahi hai ke, qasam nahi toott sakti, qasam toott jaye to uss ka kaffara dena parrhta hai, aur kyun ke, wo shakhs muflis ho chuka tha, to ghulam bech kar agar kaffara wo ada karta to uss ki halat phir bhi theek na hoti.
Apne paise se maal khareed kar sadaqa karna
  • Musnad Ahmad ki hadith, Uthman (رَضِيَ ٱللَّٰهُ عَنْه) ka jis din qatl huwa wo apne ghar me nazar band thay, aur uss din unhone baghawat karne walon ko bulaya, aur unn se kaha ke,
    • Main tumhe Allah ka wasta deta hoon, kya tumhe maloom hai ke, jab Rasoolullah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) Madina tashreef le aye, Masjid-e-Nabawi bhar gayee aur logon ke paas masjid me namaz parrhne ke liye jagah nahi thi,
    • Rasoolullah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ne ailan kiya ke, kaun hai jo apne paison se ye sath wali zameen khareede aur Musalmano ke istemaal ke liye de de, aur Jannat me iss se behtar zameen wo payega?
    • To Uthman (رَضِيَ ٱللَّٰهُ عَنْه) ne farmaya ke, maine apne paison se wo zameen khareed kar Musalmano ke liye sadaqah kiya, aur tum mujh hi ko uss jagah par 2 rakat namaz parrhne se rok rahe ho,
    • Phir aap (رَضِيَ ٱللَّٰهُ عَنْه) ne farmaya, Kya tumhe maloom hai ke, jab Rasoolullah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) Madina Tashreef laye, Madina me koi kuwa.n aisa nahi tha, jis ka paani peene ke qabil ho, siway Bi’er-Roomah ke, Arabi me Bi’er kehte hain kuwe.n ko,
    • Rasoolullah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ne ailan kiya ke, kaun hai jo Bi’er Roomah ko khareedega aur Musalmano ke istemaal ke liye dega, aur jannat me usay iss kuwe.n se behtar kuwa milega?
    • Phir Uthman (رَضِيَ ٱللَّٰهُ عَنْه) farmate hain ke, maine Bi’er Roomah ka kuwa.n maine apne paison se khareed kar Musalman ke aam istemaal ke liye de diya, aur aaj tum mujh hi ko uss ka paani peene se rok rahe ho?
    • Phir aap (رَضِيَ ٱللَّٰهُ عَنْه) ne unn se sawal kiya ke, kya tumhe maloom hai ke, wo main hi tha, jis ne Tabook jaane wali fauj ke liye sawari ka intezaam kiya tha,
    • Unn ke qatilon ne kaha, haan hum jaante hain.[10]
Ghareeb ki madad karna
  • Sunan Ibn Majah ki hadith, ek ansari sahabi aap (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ke paas aye aur aap se maangne lagay,
    • Rasoolullah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ne unn se poochha ke, tumhare ghar me koi aur cheez nahi hai?
    • Unhone kaha ke, ek kapda hai jiss ke ek hisse ko hum pehente hain aur doosre ko bichhate hain, aur ek lakdi ka pyala hai jis se hum paani peete hain,
    • Aap (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ne farmaya, wo saman mere paas lao, jo uss aadmi ne la kar diya, phir aap (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ne poochha ke kaun hai to ye mujh se khareedega? Ek shakhs ne farmaya main ye 1 Dirham me khareedta hoon.
    • Phir aap (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ne farmaya, kaun hai jo mujh se ye iss se zyada qeemat par khareedega? Ek aur shakhs ne kaha ke main 2 Dirham me khareedta hoon.
    • To aap (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ne usay wo bech kar, 2 Dirham maangne walay ko diya aur kaha ke, ek dirham se apne ghar walon ke liye khana khareedo aur ek dirham se kulhadi khareed kar mere paas lao,
    • Jab wo shakhs kulhadi khareed kar laya to, Rasoolullah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ne apne haathon se kulhadi ki lakdi lagayi aur kaha, jao lakdi kaat kar bazar me becho aur paise kamao, aur 2 hafte tak tum mujhe dikhna nahi chahiye,
    • Wo shakhs gaya aur jalane wali lakdi kaat kaat kar bechne laga aur 10 Dirham kamaye aur kuch paison se uss ne kapde khareede aur kuch se khana.
    • Rasoolullah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ne farmaya ke, ye tumhare liye behtar hai iss se ke, qiyamat ke din bheek mangne ka nishan tumhare chehre par aye.
    • Bheek maangna sirf teen qism ke logon ke liye hai;
      • Pehla jo sakht tareen ghareebi ka shikar ho,
      • Doosra jo Qarz me doob gaya ho,
      • Teesra jisay khoon-baha ya blood money ada karna ho – jo takleef de hai.[11]

Bechne ke mutaliq jo ahadith ayee hain, unn me;

Qurani ayaat ko samjhane…
  • Bukhari ki hadith, Rasoolullah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ne farmaya ke, Jo shakhs jhooti qasam khaye, jis ke zariye wo kisi doosre ka maal hadap kar le, to Allah se wo iss haal me milega ke, wo uss par ghazabnaak hoga, ghusse me hoga, phir Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى) ne ye ayat nazil ki, iss baat ki tasdeeq me {‏{‏إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَشْتَرُونَ بِعَهْدِ اللَّهِ‏ – Bela shuba jo log Allah ke ahad aur uss ki qasmo.n ko thodi si qeemat ke badle bechte hain…[12]
    • Al-Ashath tashreef laye, jab ke Abdullah ibn Masood ye hadith logon me bayan kar rahe the, aur farmaya ke, ye ayat mere aur ek doosre admi ke baare me nazil huwi, jis se mera ek kuwe.n ke baare me jhagda tha,
    • Aap (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ne farmaya, kya tumhare paas koi daleel hai?
    • Maine jawab diya, nahi,
    • Aap (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ne farmaya, to phir uss admi ko qasam khaane do,
    • Maine kaha, mujhe yaqeen hai ke wo jhooti qasam khayega (aur Kuwa hasil kar lega)
    • Iss par ye Surah Aal-e-Imran ki 77wi ayat nazil huwi ke.[13]
  • Bukhari ki ek aur hadith, issi ayat ke mutalliq hai ke, bazar me ek shakhs ne kuch saman dikha kar qasm khayee ke iss saman ki qeemat itni lag chuki hai, halanke uss saman ki utni qeemat nahi lagi thi,
  • Issi ayat ki tafseer me ek aur Bukhari ki hi hadith, Rasoolullah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ne farmaya ke, teen tarah ke log wo honge jin ki taraf Qiyamat ke din, Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى) na dekhega aur na hi unn ko paak karega, Balke unn ke liye sakht tareen azaab hoga:
    • Ek wo shakhs jis ke paas raaste me zaroorat se zyada pani ho aur uss ne kisi musafir ko uss ke istemaal se rok diya,
    • Doosra wo shakhs jo kisi hakim se, sirf iss liye bayt kiya ke duniya ka faida ho, agar wo hakim usay kuch de to wo khush hota hai warna khafa rehta hai,
    • Teesra wo shakhs jo apna bechne ka saman asr ke ba’d le ker khada ho aur kehne laga ke uss Allah ki qasam jis ke siway koi, sacha mabood nahi, mujhe iss saman ki qeemat itni itni mill rahi thi, uss par ek shakhs ne usay sach samjha (aur uss ki batai huwi qeemat par uss saman ko khareed liya),
    • Phir Aap (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ne iss ayat ki tilawat ki, {jo log Allah ke ahad aur apni qasmo.n ko thodi qeemat ke badle bechte hain,…3:77}.[15]
Allah ki raah me apni jaan ko bech de
  • Ibn Majah ki ek lambi hadith me, Allah ki raah me apni jaan ko bech dene ke maane aye hain.[16]

To iss ayat ke maane aam taur par khareedne ke aaye hain, aur jis khareedari ki baat iss ayat me ho rahi hai, wo iss duniya me gumrahi khareedne ke baare me hai, jis ka result aakhirat me pata chalega,

Iss ayat ka doosra lafz hai, Rabihat

64. RABIHAT (Gain or Prosperity) رَبِحَتْ ( ر ب ح ) 2:16

Lafz-e-Rabihat ka root ya maddah (ر ب ح) hai, jis ka matlab nafay ke ya faide ke, Gain ya Prosperity ke aye hain aur ye lafz Quran me sirf issi ayat me aya hai.

Ahadith me bhi, Abu Dawood ki ek daif hadith me, Trading se faidah kamane ke maane aye hain.[17]

  • Aur al-Hakim ne Mustadrak ala Sahihain me aur Sheikh al-Albani ne Silsilatus Sahiha me sahih sanad ke sath record kiya hai,
    • Abu Dahdah jab apna baagh ek khajoor ke darakht ke liye bech dete hain aur aa kar apni biwi ko batate hain ke,
    • Aye umm Dahdah apne ghar se aur iss bagh se nikal chalo, kyun ke, maine iss bagh ko Allah aur uss ke Rasool (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ko bech diya hai, jannat me ek khajoor ke darakht ke iwaz, to wo kehti hai ke kya behtareen aur faidemand sauda aap karke aa rahe hain.[18]

Yahan Dars rok denge, next Saturday In Sha Allah Surah al-Baqarah ki tafseel agay sunenge.

Al hamdulillahi Rabbil Alameen

[1] Jabir b. Abdullah reported that Allah’s Apostle (ﷺ) happened to walk through the bazar coming from the side of ‘Aliya and the people were on both his sides. There he found a dead lamb with very short ears. He took hold of his ear and said: Who amongst you would like to have this for a dirham? They said: We do not like to have it even for less than that as it is of no use to us. He said: Do you wish to have it (free of any cost)? They said: By Allah, even if it were alive (we would not have liked to possess that), for there is defect in it as its ear is very short; now it is dead also. Thereupon Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) said: By Allah, this world is more insignificant in the eye of Allah than it (this dead lamb) is in your eye.

[5] Narrated ‘Urwa al-Bariqi (RA): The Prophet (ﷺ) gave him a Dinar to buy a sacrificial animal or a sheep. He bought two sheep with it, sold one of them for a Dinar and came back to him with a goat and a Dinar. [10] It was narrated that Thumamah bin Hazn al-Qushairi said: I was present at the house (of `Uthman) on the day `Uthman (رضي الله عنه) was killed. He looked out at them and said: Call for me your two companions who incited you against me. They were called for him and he said: I adjure you by Allah, do you know that when the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) came to Madinah, the mosque got too crowded for its people and he said: “Who will buy this piece of land with his own wealth and use it like the rest of the Muslims (i.e., donate it to the Muslims and share it with them) and he will have something better than it in Paradise?” So I bought it with my own wealth and donated it to the Muslims, but now you are preventing me from praying two rak’ahs in it! Then he said: I adjure you by Allah, do you know that when the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) came to Madinah, there was no well good for drinking from except (the well of) Roomah. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: `Who will buy it with his own wealth and his bucket will be like that of the Muslims (i.e., donate the well to the Muslims and share it with them) and he will have something better than it in Paradise.” So I bought it with my own wealth, but now you are preventing me from drinking from it. Then he said: Do you know that I am the one who equipped the army of hardship (i.e., the army that went on the campaign of Tabook)? They said: By Allah, yes.

[11] It was narrated from Anas bin Malik that : a man from among the Ansar came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and begged from him. He said, “Do you have anything in your house?” He said: “Yes, a blanket, part of which we cover ourselves with and part we spread beneath us, and a bowl from which we drink water.” He said: “Give Them to me.” So he brought them to him, and the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) took them in his hand and said, “Who will by these two things?” A man said: “I will by them for one Dirham.” He said: “Who will offer more than a Dirham?” two or three times. A man said: “I will buy them for two Dirham.” So he gave them to him and took the two Dirham, which he gave to the Ansari and said: “Buy food with one of them and give it to your family, and buy an axe with the other and bring it to me.” So he did that, and the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) took it and fixed a handle to it, and said: “Go and gather firewood, and I do not want to see you for fifteen days.” So he went and gathered firewood and sold it, then he came back, and he had earned ten Dirham. (The Prophet (ﷺ)) said: “Buy food with some of it and clothes with some.” Then he said: “This is better for you than coming with begging (appearing) as a spot on your face on the Day of Resurrection. Begging is only appropriate for one who is extremely poor or who is in severe debt, or one who must pay painful blood money.”

[13] Narrated `Abdullah: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “If somebody on the demand of a judge takes an oath to grab (a Muslim’s) property and he is liar in it, he will meet Allah Who will be angry with him”. So Allah revealed,:– ‘Verily! those who purchase a small gain at the cost of Allah’s Covenant and their oaths..’ (3.77) ‘Al- Ashath came while `Abdullah was narrating (this) to the people. Al-Ashath said, “This verse was revealed regarding me and another man with whom I had a quarrel about a well. The Prophet (ﷺ) said (to me), “Do you have any evidence?’ I replied, ‘No.’ He said, ‘Let your opponent take an oath.’ I said: I am sure he would take a (false) oath.” Thereupon it was revealed: ‘Verily! those who purchase a small gain at the cost of Allah’s Covenant….’ (3.77) (See Hadith No. 72, Vol 6).

[15] Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) said, “There are three persons whom Allah will not look at on the Day of Resurrection, nor will he purify them and theirs shall be a severe punishment. They are: -1. A man possessed superfluous water, on a way and he withheld it from travelers. -2. A man who gave a pledge of allegiance to a ruler and he gave it only for worldly benefits. If the ruler gives him something he gets satisfied, and if the ruler withholds something from him, he gets dissatisfied. -3. And man displayed his goods for sale after the `Asr prayer and he said, ‘By Allah, except Whom None has the right to be worshipped, I have been given so much for my goods,’ and somebody believes him (and buys them). The Prophet (ﷺ) then recited: “Verily! Those who purchase a little gain at the cost of Allah’s Covenant and their oaths.” (3.77)

[16] It was narrated from Abu Sa’eed Al-Khudri that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Gog and Magog people will be set free and they will emerge as Allah says: “swoop(ing) down from every mound.”[21:96] They will spread throughout the earth, and the Muslims will flee from them until the remainder of the Muslims are in their cities and fortresses, taking their flocks with them. They will pass by a river and drink from it, until they leave nothing behind, and the last of them will follow in their footsteps and one of them will say: ‘There was once water in this place.’ They will prevail over the earth, then their leader will say: ‘These are the people of the earth, and we have finished them off. Now let us fight the people of heaven!’ Then one of them will throw his spear towards the sky, and it will come back down smeared with blood. And they will say: ‘We have killed the people of heaven.’ While they are like that, Allah will send a worm like the worm that is found in the noses of sheep, which will penetrate their necks and they will die like locusts, one on top of another. In the morning the Muslims will not hear any sound from them, and they will say: ‘Who will sell his soul for the sake of Allah and see what they are doing?’ A man will go down, having prepared himself to be killed by them, and he will find them dead, so he will call out to them: ‘Be of good cheer, for your enemy is dead!’ Then the people will come out and let their flocks loose, but they will not have anything to graze on except their flesh, and they will become very fat as if they were grazing on the best vegetation they ever found.'”

[17] Narrated A man from the Companions of the Prophet: Ubaydullah ibn Salman reported on the authority of a man from the Companions of the Prophet (ﷺ): When we conquered Khaybar, they (the people) took out their spoils which contained equipment and captives. The people began to buy and sell their spoils. When the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) prayed, a man came to him and said: Messenger of Allah, I have gained today so much so that no one gained from this valley. He asked: Woe unto you, how much did you gain? He replied: I kept on selling and buying until I gained three hundred uqiyahs.
