Rabbish sharah li sadri wa yassirli amri wahlul uqdatam min lisaani yafqahu qauli

As Salaamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu

Pichle dars me hum Surah al-Baqarah ki 14wi ayaat ki tafseer me Lafz-e-Shaitan par ahadith ka chohta hissa sunn rahe the, aaj ke dars me Shaitan par ahadith khatam ho jayengi aur hum shaitan par conclusion ka pehla hissa sunenge.

Tarjuma wa Tafseer

Vs. No. 14 Cont’d…

وَاِذَا لَقُوۡا الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا قَالُوۡاۤ اٰمَنَّا ۖۚ وَاِذَا خَلَوۡا اِلٰى شَيٰطِيۡنِهِمۡۙ قَالُوۡاۤ اِنَّا مَعَكُمۡۙ اِنَّمَا نَحۡنُ مُسۡتَهۡزِءُوۡنَ‏

To jab ye momino se milte hain, unn se communicate karte hain, ya momino ki mehfilon me jaate hain to kehte hain ke, hum iman le aye hain. Lekin jab wo akele, khilwat me, apne jaise shayateen ke saath hote hain…to unn se kehte hain ke, hum tumhare saath hain…

Rasoolullah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) se mutalliq
  • Tirmidhi ki hadith, Rasoolullah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ne Abdur Rahman bin Awf ka haath pakda aur le gaye unko apnay betay Ibrahim ke paas, jis ki maut waqay ho rahi thi, to Ibrahim ka sar le kar apni godh me rakh liya aur rona lagay,
    • To Abdur Rahman ibn Awf ne kaha ke, aap (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ro rahay hain, aur aap hi mana kartay thay ronay se,
    • Iss par Rasoolullah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ne farmaya, nahi main ronay se mana nahi karta tha, lekin do ahmaq fajir ki awazon se mana karta tha,
    • Ek awaz ronay ki kisi museebat ke waqt aur nochna aur peetna apne chehron ka, aur phaadna aur cheerna apne kapdon ka,
    • Doosra, nooha karna ya cheekhna shaitan ka sa.[1]
    • Inn cheezon se aap (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ne mana kiya hai.
Shaitan se mutalliq
  • Nasai ki hadith, farmaya Rasoolullah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ne ke, shaitan insaan ko gumrah karne ke liye, uss ke sab raaston par baittha hai,
    • Shaitan uss ko gumrah karne ke liye, Islam ke raaste par baittha hai aur kehta hai ke, kya tu islaam la kar apne aur apne baap-dada ke deen ko chhorrh dega?
    • Lekin, insaan uss ki na-farmani karke, musalman ho jata hai,
    • Phir wo uss ke saamne, hijrat ke raaste par aa kar baitth jata hai, aur kehta hai ke, kya tu hijrat kar ke apne watan aur aasmaan ko, chhorrh dega?
    • Jab ke muhajir ki misaal aisi hai, jaise ke ghoda rassi se baandh diya gaya ho,
    • Lekin, insaan uss ki na-farmani karke, hijrat kar leta hai,
    • Phir Shaitan, uss ke saamne, jihad ke raaste par aa kar baitth jata hai aur kehta hai ke, tu jihad karega? Ye to jaan-o-maal ki mashaqqat ka naam hai, phir tu ladai karega, to mara jayega, teri biwi se koi doosra shakhs shadi kar lega, aur tera maal waarison me takhseem kar diya jayega,
    • Lekin, momin uss ki na-farmani karke, jihad karta hai,
    • Phir Rasoolullah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ne farmaya, jo shakhs ye sab kuch karay, to Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى) par lazim ho jata hai ke, usay jannat me dakhil kar de, aur
    • Jo shaheed ho jaye, to phir bhi Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى) par lazim ho jata hai ke, usay jannat me dakhil kar de, aur
    • Agar wo gharq ho jaye, to bhi Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى) par lazim ho jata hai ke, usay jannat me dakhil kar de, aur
    • Agar uss ki sawari ka janwar, uss ko gira kar uss ki gardan todh de, to bhi Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى) par lazim hai ke usay jannat me dakhil kar de.[2]
    • Ab yahan ek khaas baat note karne ki ye hai ke, hijrat kar ke, insaan apna mulk to chhorrh deta hai, lekin aasmaan kaise chhorrhta hai?
    • Mujhe jo samajh me aya, wo ye hai ke, atmosphere aur aab-o-hawa bhi ek bohot hi eham role ada karti hai, insaan ki zindagi me.
    • To shayed issi liye iss ka zikr yahan ho raha hai.
  • Issi silsilay me, Darimi ki ek aur hadith, Ek din Rasoolullah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ne zameen par ek lakeer kheenchi aur farmaya ke, Ye Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى) ka raasta hai,
    • Phir uss ke daaye.n aur baaye.n, aur lakeerei.n khee.nchi, phir farmaya ke, ye aur raaste hain, jin me se har raastay par shaitan hai, jo apni taraf bulata hai,
    • Phir Aap (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ne ye ayat parrhi, Beshak, ye mera seedha raasta hai, iss ki pairwi karo, aur doosre raaston ki pairwi na karna, warna tumhe uss ke (yani Allah) ke raaste se hatta denge (Surah Anáam ayat 153).[3]
General mazameen ke mutalliq
  • Bukhari ki hadith, Aisha (صلى الله عليه وسلم) farmati hain ke, Jung-e-Uhud me jab mushrikeen ko shikast ho gayee, to Iblees ne chilla kar kaha ke, Aye Allah ke bando! apne peechhe walon se bacho, chunache, aagay ke musalman peeche ki taraf mudh kar maarna shuru kiya, jo musalmaan hi thay,
    • Hudaifa (رَضِيَ ٱللَّٰهُ عَنْه) ne dekha to unn ke walid Yaman (رَضِيَ ٱللَّٰهُ عَنْه) bhi peechhe thay, unhone ne bohot baar kaha ke, Aye Allah ke bando! ye mere walid hain, ye mere walid hain,
    • Lekin Allah gawah hai ke, logon ne unhe qatl kar diya, baad me Hudaifa (رَضِيَ ٱللَّٰهُ عَنْه) ne sirf itna kaha ke, khair Allah tumhe maaf kare (ke ghalat fehmi me tum ne ek musalman ko maar dala)
    • Urwa farmate hain ke, phir Hudaifa (رَضِيَ ٱللَّٰهُ عَنْه) apne walid ke qatilon ke liye barabar maghfirat ki dua karte rahe, jab tak ke, Allah se ja mile.[4]
  • Abu Dawood aur Tirmidhi ki ahadith, Farmaya Rasoolullah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ne Abu Bakr (رَضِيَ ٱللَّٰهُ عَنْه) se ke, main raat ko tumhare ghar ke paas se guzra, aur suna ke tum Quran bohot hi dheemi awaz se parrh rahe thay,
    • To Abu Bakr (رَضِيَ ٱللَّٰهُ عَنْه) ne arz kiya ke, main to uss zaat ko sunata tha jis se iltija kar raha tha, ya jis se dua maang raha tha, yani Allah ko suna raha tha, aap (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ne farmaya ke thodi awaz buland karo,
    • Aur Umar (صلى الله عليه وسلم) se farmaya ke, kal raat maine tum ko bohot hi buland awaz se Quran parrhte suna,
    • To Umar (رَضِيَ ٱللَّٰهُ عَنْه) ne arz kiya ke, main sonay walon ko jagata tha aur shaitan ko bhagata tha, aap (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ne farmaya ke thodi dheemi awaz se parrho.[5]
    • Iss hadith ka matlab ye hai ke, na to bohot hi ahesta aur na bohot hi buland awaz me Quran parrhna chahiye, darmiyani raah ikhtiyar karna chahiye.
  • Bukhari ki hadith, Ibn Abbas (رَضِيَ ٱللَّٰهُ عَنْه) farmate hain ke, Jo butth Nuh (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَام) ki qaum pooja karti thi, baad me unhi buttho.n ki arab ke yahan bhi ibadat hone lagi thi, chunache,
    • Wadd – Daumat al-Jandal me, Banu Kalb ka butth tha,
    • Suwa – Banu Hudail ka butth tha,
    • Yaghouth – Murad Qabile ki shaakh, Banu Ghateef ka butth tha, jo Wadi-e-Jurf, Qaum-e-Saba ke qareeb rehte thay,
    • Yauq – Banu Hamdan ka butth tha, aur
    • Nasr – ki Qaum-e-Himyar ibadat karti thi, jo Zul-Kala’ ki aulad se thay.
    • Ye pancho, naam Nuh (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَام) ki qaum ke nek logon ke naam thay.
    • Jab unn par maut aayee, to shaitan ne unn ke dil me daala ke, jin muqamat par ye buzug tashreef farmaya karte thay, wahan unn ki moortiyan bana lo, aur unn ka naam unhi buzurgon ke naam par rakho, chunache, Unhone aisa hi kiya.
    • Uss waqt unn moortiyon ki pooja nahi hoti thi, lekin jab wo log bhi marr gaye, jinhone butth qayem kiye thay aur logon me ilm baqi na raha, to unn ki pooja hona shuru ho gayee.[6]
  • Abu Dawood ki hadith, Sayeed bin Musayyab (رَضِيَ ٱللَّٰهُ عَنْه) farmate hain ke, Rasoolullah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ne unn ke dada Hazn se poochha ke tumhara naam kya hai?
    • Unhone jawab diya, Hazn, jis ke maane sakht aur dushwar guzaar zameen ke hain,
    • Aap (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ne farmaya, tum Sahl ho, jis ke maane narm aur asaan ke hain,
    • Unhone jawab diya, ke Sahl ko to rondha jata hai aur haqeer jana jata hai,
    • Sayeed (رَضِيَ ٱللَّٰهُ عَنْه) farmaate hain ke, mujhe yaqeen raha ke hume unn ke baad koi sakhti aur ghami lahaq honay wali hai.[7]
    • Iss hadith ke doosre hisse me, Abu Dawood ne aur bhi sahaba ke naam darj kiye, jinn ke naam Rasoolullah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ne tabdeel kiye.
  • Sunan Nasai ki hadith, Saad (رَضِيَ ٱللَّٰهُ عَنْه) ne farmaya ke, hum ek waqt kisi muamele me behas kar rahe thay, aur main abhi naya musalman tha, aur adatan maine Laat aur Uzza ki qasam kha baittha, to Sahaba kehne lagay tum ne buri baat kahi hai, Rasoolullah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ke paas jao, aur aap ko ye baat batao,
    • Hum to ye samajhte hain ke, tum ne kufr kiya hai,
    • To main aap (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ki khidmat me hazir huwa aur aap ko poori baat batayee,
    • Aap (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ne farmaya ke, teen dafa kaho La ilaha illa Allahu Wahdahu, La shareeka lahu aur teen dafa Shaitan-e-mardood se Allah ki panah maango aur teen dafa apne bayee taraf thook do aur phir dobara aisi baat na kehna.[8]
  • Sahih Muslim ki ek lambi hadith, jo Itikaaf per hai jisme aya hai ke, Rasoolullah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) Ramadan ke darmiyani ashray me Lailatul Qadr talash kar rahe thay, phir aap (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ko Lailatul Qadr ke baare me Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى) ki taraf se bataya gaya ke wo aakhri ashray me hai, aur aap jab aaye logon ko batane ke liye,
    • To do shakhs ladh rahe thay aur unn ke saath shaitan tha, aur wo aap (صلى الله عليه وسلم) se bhula di gayee,
    • To Rasoolullah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ne farmaya ke, tum lailatul Qadr ko aakhri dus raaton me talash karo…[9]
Auraton se mutalliq
  • Bukhari ki hadith, Ek waqt Umar (رَضِيَ ٱللَّٰهُ عَنْه) ne Rasoolullah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ki khidmat me hazir hone ki ijazat maangi, uss waqt aap ki azwaaj (yani Rasoolullah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ki biwiyan) aap (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ke paas baitthi, aap se kharch badhaane ka sawal kar rahi thi.n, aur unn ki awaaz buland ho gayee thi,
    • Lekin jaise hi, Umar (رَضِيَ ٱللَّٰهُ عَنْه) ne ijazat maangi, wo khawateen jaldi se parday ke peechay chali gayee.n,
    • Phir Rasoolullah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ne unhe ijazat di, aur aap (صلى الله عليه وسلم) muskura rahe the, Umar (رَضِيَ ٱللَّٰهُ عَنْه) ne kaha ke, Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى) aap ko hasta rakhay, Ya Rasoolullah (صلى الله عليه وسلم).
    • Aap (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ne farmaya ke, mujhe inn auraton par ta’ajub huwa jo abhi abhi mere paas thi.n, lekin jab tumhari awaz suni to parday ke pichay jaldi se bhaag gayee.n,
    • Umar (رَضِيَ ٱللَّٰهُ عَنْه) ne farmaya, lekin aap, Ya Rasoolullah zyada mustahaq hain ke aap se ye darti.n, phir unhone kaha ke, Aye apni jaano ki dushmano, mujh se to darti ho, lekin Rasoolullah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ne nahi darti?
    • Azwaj-e-mutahharaat ne jawab diya ke, waqay yehi hai, kyun ke, aap (yani Umar (رَضِيَ ٱللَّٰهُ عَنْه)) Rasoolullah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ke barkhilaf mizaaj me bohot sakht hain,
    • Rasoolullah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ne farmaya, uss zaat ki qasam! jis ke haath me meri jaan hai, agar Shaitan bhi kahi.n raaste me tum se (yani ke Umar (رَضِيَ ٱللَّٰهُ عَنْه)) se mil jaye, to jhat se wo bhi apna raasta badal leta hai.[10]
Safar se mutalliq
  • Abu Dawood ki hadith, Jab Rasoolullah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) jung ki muhim par hote aur raaste me araam ke liye padao karte thay,
    • To log wadiyon aur ghaatiyon me bikhar jaatay thay,
    • To Rasoolullah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ne farmaya ke, tumhara inn wadiyon aur ghatiyon me bikhar jana shaitan ki taraf se hai,
    • Iss ke baad jab bhi aap (صلى الله عليه وسلم) kisi manzil par padao karte, to sahaba (رَضِيَ ٱللَّٰهُ عَنْهم) ek doosre ke bohot hi qareeb rehte, yahan tak ke, kaha jata hai ke, agar unn par ek hi kapda taan diya jata to sab par aa jata.[11]
Music ya mauseeqi se mutalliq
  • Tirmidhi ki hadith, Rasoolullah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) kisi jihad par thay aur jab wapas aaye, to ek ladki aayee aur uss ne arz kiya, Ya Rasoolullah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) maine nazar maani thi ke, agar Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى) aap ko sahih aur salim laayega to main aap ke saamne duff bajaoongi aur gaa’oongi,
    • Aap (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ne farmaya, agar tum ne nazar maani hai to bajao warna nahi, to wo duff bajane lagi,
    • Phir Abu Bakr (رَضِيَ ٱللَّٰهُ عَنْه) tashreef laye, tab bhi wo ladki duff baja rahi thi, phir Ali aur Uthman (رَضِيَ ٱللَّٰهُ عَنْهما) ek ke baad ek aaye tab bhi wo ladki duff baja rahi thi,
    • Jaise hi Umar (رَضِيَ ٱللَّٰهُ عَنْه) tashreef laye to wo ladki duff ko apne neeche rakh kar baitth gayee, iss par Rasoolullah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ne farmaya, Shaitan tum se darta hai Aye Umar,…[12]
Fitnon se mutalliq
  • Tirmidhi ki hadith, Rasoolullah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ne dua ki, Aye Allah hume apne shaam me, syria me barkat ata farma! Aye Allah hume hamare Yemen me barkat ata farma!
    • Unhone (yani logon ne) kaha: Aur hamare najd me?
    • Aap (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ne farmaya, Aye Allah hume apne shaam me, syria me barkat ata farma! Aye Allah hume hamare Yemen me barkat ata farma!
    • Logon ne phir kaha: Aur hamare najd me?
    • Aap (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ne farmaya, wahan zalzale hain aur fitne hain, ya aap (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ne farmaya, Shaitan ka seengh wahan se niklega.[13]
Ulama se mutalliq
  • Abu Dawood aur Nasai ki ahadith, jis me aya hai ke, agar koi aise maslay ka hal poochha jaye kisi se, jis ka jawab usay nahi maloom to wo ye kahe,
    • Pehle to zahir kar de ke, iss ka jawab nahi maloom, aur agar sawal karne wala, phir bhi israr kare, jawab dene ke liye,
    • To jawab dene se pehle ye kahe ke, agar ye sahih hai to ye Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى) ki taraf se hai, aur agar ye ghalat hai to ye meri taraf se hai aur shaitan ki taraf se hai.
    • Phir wo apni raye bata sakta hai.[14]
Quran se mutalliq
  • Bukhari ki hadith, Umar (رَضِيَ ٱللَّٰهُ عَنْه) ne ek waqt Rasoolullah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ke sahaba (رَضِيَ ٱللَّٰهُ عَنْهم) se poochha ke, Surah al-Baqarah ki 266wi ayat {‏أَيَوَدُّ أَحَدُكُمْ أَنْ تَكُونَ لَهُ جَنَّةٌ} kis muamele ke baare me nazil huwi thi?
    • Sahaba (رَضِيَ ٱللَّٰهُ عَنْهم) ne jawab diya ke, Allah hi behtar jaanta hai,
    • To Umar (رَضِيَ ٱللَّٰهُ عَنْه) ne ghussay me farmaya ke, ye kya baat huwi? saaf kaho ke hume maloom hai ya maloom nahi,
    • Sahih jawab na milne par Umar (رَضِيَ ٱللَّٰهُ عَنْه) ne farmaya ke, ye ek maaldaar shakhs ki misaal hai, jo Allah ki ita’at me amal karta raha, phir Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى) iss par shaitan ko ghalib kar deta hai, to gunahon me masroof ho jata hai aur uss ke nek amaal sab ke sab fana ho jaatay hain, tukday tukday ho jaatay hain.[15]
Conclusion – Part 1

Pichle 7 hafton se hum shaitan par Quran aur Ahadith se tafseel sunn rahe hain, jis me humne ye jana,

  • Pehle to ye ke, Insaan ke saath Shaitan ki wabastagi shuru se hi thi, Jab Adam (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَام) ko sajda karne ka hukum mila to uss ne inkaar kar diya,
    • Ab yahan par ek sawal paida hota hai ke, Shaitan ya Iblis Jinno me se tha, to jab Malaika ko Adam (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَام) ke saamne jhukne ka hukum huwa to wo iss hukum ke tehat kaise aya?
    • Jab ke material of construction dono ka alag alag hai, Malaika Noor se bane huwe hain, aur Iblis ya Jinn Naar se, heat wave let free from fire se,
    • Iss ko samjhane ke liye pehle lafz-e-Malak ko samajhna padega, jo agay ki ayaat me aa raha hai to hum iss sawal ka jawab wahan par denge.
  • Doosra ye ke, jab insaan paida hota hai to, shaitan usay chhoota hai, jis ki wajah se wo ronay lagta hai,
    • Ab khaas baat ye hai ke, agar bachha paida hone par na roye, to bhi Doctoron ko pareshani hoti hai, uss ki zindagi aur maut ka sawal samjha jata hai,
    • Lekin, ahadith me ata hai ke, do logon ki paidaish par shaitan unhe nahi chhuwa, paida hone ke baad shaitan se bache rahe,
    • Ek hai Maryam (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَام) aur Doosre hain unn ke bete, Isa Ibn Maryam (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَام), kyun ke, Maryam (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَام) ki waleda ki dua thi ke inn ko shaitan se bachaye rakhna,
  • Humne iss shaitan ke lafz ki tafseel me suna ke, har marhale par shaitan hume ya to bhatkaane ki koshish karta hai,
    • ya achhi cheezon se door karne ke koshish karta hai,
    • ya nek amaal karne se bhula deta hai,
    • ya neend ke zariye dhoka deta hai,
    • ya gunah ko attractive bana kar mayel karta hai,
    • waghairah, waghairah
  • Shaitan insaano me bhi hote hain, jinno me bhi hote hain, aur janwaron me bhi hote hain, jo insaan ko nuqsan pahunchate hain, insaani zindagi ko nuqsan pahunchate hain,
  • Quran me Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى) ne baar baar kaha hai ke, shaitan hamara khula dushman hai, to uss se bachne ka hukum huwa, Allah ki panah maangne ka hukum huwa, to aap (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ne hume har haal me shaitan se bachne ki dua.en sikhayee,
    • Ab yahan Musalmaan ummat ke aaj kal ke halat par nazar daalenge, to pata chalega ke aksar log inn dua.on se be-khabar hain, hume maloom hi nahi ke, din bhar me kitne azkaar aur dua.en hain, jinhe parrhne se insaan shaitan se bach sakta hai,
    • Aur jinhe maloom bhi hai, to wo iss se ghafil hain, ya apne roz-marra ke kaamo me itne mashghool hain ke, zikr karna bhool jaate hain,
    • Aur shaitan hamari zindagi ka hissa ban jata hai, hamare khaane peene ka hissa ban jata hai, jaisa ke hume ahadith se maloom huwa,
    • Zikr karne ke bajaye, humari ummat ke kuch log ulttay kaam karne me lagay huwe hain, jadugaron ke paas, astrologers ke paas ya kahino ke paas ja kar ya to future ki maloomat hasil karna chahte hain, ya jaadu ke zariye ek doosre ko nuqsaan pahunchane me busy hai ya maazi ki past ke halat maloom karne ki koshish karte hain,
    • Jis kaam ko Rasoolullah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ne karne se mana kiya, wohi kaam karne me hum mashghool hain,
    • Jab ye baat musalmaan bhaiyyon ko batayee jaati hai ke Rasoolullah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ne aise kaam karne se mana kiya, jaadu ke baare me information hasil karna aur amal – amaliyat me waqt guzaarna, to kehte hain ke, bhai ummat ke doosre log ya ghair-muslim inn kamo ke zariye hume nukhsan pahuncha rahe hain, to hume bhi unn maloomat ko hasil karna parrh raha hai – takay uss ka todh nikala ja sakay,
    • Iss ka jawab Quran aur ahadith me maujood hai, inn cheezon ka ilaaj aap (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ne hume bata diya, zikr karne se shaitan bhaag jata hai, Allah ka naam le kar roz-marra ke kaam karne se – shaitan hume nukhsan nahi pahuncha sakta,
    • Ek bimari se doosri bimari ka ilaaj nahi ho sakta, bimari ki dawa khana parrhta hai, jaadu ka ilaaj Quran hai, Allah ka zikr hai, na ke jaadugaron ke paas ja kar uss ka todh dhoondna, aisa karne se insaan deen se door ho jata hai, aur shaitan ka pairokaar bann jata hai,
    • Quran me, aur Ahadith me humne suna ke, shaitan ko future ki maloomat hasil karne se rok diya gaya hai, unn par aag ke sholay bhej diye jaate hain, jab bhi wo aasmaano se ye information churane ki koshish karte hain,
    • Lekin yahan sawal ye paida hota hai ke, kya shaitan ko guzri huwi ya past ki information ka pata chal sakta hai ya nahi? Kyun ke, aamilon ke paas ja ja kar, aisi information hamare log hasil kar rahe hain, aur apne liye bhi museebat khada kar rahe hain aur doosron ke liye bhi museebat bana rahe hain,

    • Aur ye ek doosre se communicate karte hain, to kya waqiya huwa, koi event huwi to uss communication ke zariye pata kar sakte hain, jaise ke hum insaan apas me baat kar ke pata kar sakte hain,
    • Phir Surah jinn se hume ye maloom huwa ke, Insaan jinno ki madad maangte hain, aur baaz insaan jinno ko apna ilaha, apna khuda maante hain, to yahan se pata chala ke insaano aur jinno me bhi koi communication channel hai, aur wo hai wasswasson ka channel,
    • Inn tamam maloomaat ko ek jagah karke hum ye keh sakte hain ke, log jinno ko istemaal karte hain, ghaib ke baare me janne ki koshish karte hain, jo guzre huwe waqiyaat hain, wo maloom karne ki koshish karte hain, aur iss process me gumrah ho rahe hain,
    • Jis kaam ko karne se Allah ke Rasool (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ne mana farmaya, ussi kaam ko kar rahe hain – to iss ka nateeja kya hoga ye samajh lein, kuch nataij to hamare saamne hai, lekin aakhirat me kya anjaam hoga nabi ki baat ko thukraane ka ye hum sab jaante hain.
  • Acha, ab shaitan jo jinno me se hai, aur aag se banaya gaya hai, aur jab wo aasmaano me future ki baatein sunn kar kahino ko batata hai, to kahin uss ek sach ke peechhe 100 jhoot mila kar logon ko batate hain jaisa ke Quran aur Ahadith me baat aayee hai, jab ye information chura kar bhaagte hain to aag ka ek shola jinno ke peechhe laga diya jata hai,
    • To kya aag ka shola, jinno ko nuqsaan pahuncha sakta hai aur kya dozaq ki aag shaitan ko jala sakti hai, jo khud aag se ya heatwave se bane huwe hain?
    • Agar aag ka shola dekh kar shayateen bhaagte hain, to iss ka matlab ye hai ke uss se unhe nuqsaan pahunchta hai,
    • Dozaq ki aag ki baat to alag hai, pehla jawab iss ka ye hai ke, Allah ne shaitan ko qiyamat tak ke liye mohlat de to di, insaano ko gumrah karne ke liye, lekin saath hi saath, ye bhi dhamki de di ke, Qiyamat me Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى) shaitan ko aur uss ke sathiyon ko aur insaano ko jo uss ki pairwi karenge dozaq se bhar denge,

    • To shaitan bhi kyun ke, Infrared Radiation se bana hai, which again is from the electromagnetic spectrum, wo dozaq se bahar nahi nikal sakta,
    • Itna temperature aur itna pressure hoga ke, wahan jakde jayenge, tabah ho jayenge,
  • Phir humne ahadith me suna ke, Kaale kutte ko, kaale saamp ko aap (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ne shaitan kaha, to kya shaitan bhes badal sakta hai? Kya wo insaano ki shakal me aa sakta hai?

    • Ye baat chahe koi dost kahe, koi rishtedaar kahe ya phir koi aalim hi kyun na kahe, agar wo burai ki taraf dawat dete hain aur sachai se rokte hain to ye shaitan ki taraf se hai.

[1] Jabir bin Abdullah narrated: “The Prophet took Abdur-Rahman bin Awf by the hand and went with him to his son Ibrahim. He found him in his last breaths, so he took him and put him on his lap and cried. Abdur-Rahman said to him: ‘You cry? Didn’t you prohibit (your followers) from crying?’ He said: ‘No. But I prohibited two foolish immoral voices: A voice during a calamity while clawing at one’s face and tearing one’s clothes, and Shaitan’s scream.'” And there is more that is stated in the Hadith.

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ خَشْرَمٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ أَخَذَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِيَدِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ فَانْطَلَقَ بِهِ إِلَى ابْنِهِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ فَوَجَدَهُ يَجُودُ بِنَفْسِهِ فَأَخَذَهُ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَوَضَعَهُ فِي حِجْرِهِ فَبَكَى فَقَالَ لَهُ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ أَتَبْكِي أَوَلَمْ تَكُنْ نَهَيْتَ عَنِ الْبُكَاءِ قَالَ ‏ “‏ لاَ وَلَكِنْ نَهَيْتُ عَنْ صَوْتَيْنِ أَحْمَقَيْنِ فَاجِرَيْنِ صَوْتٍ عِنْدَ مُصِيبَةٍ خَمْشِ وُجُوهٍ وَشَقِّ جُيُوبٍ وَرَنَّةِ شَيْطَانٍ ‏”‏ ‏.‏ وَفِي الْحَدِيثِ كَلاَمٌ أَكْثَرُ مِنْ هَذَا ‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ ‏.‏

[2] It was narrated that Sabrah bin Abi Fakih said: “I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: ‘the Shaitan sits in the paths of the son of Adam. He sits waiting for him, in the path to Islam, and he says: Will you accept Islam, and leave your religion, and the religion of your forefathers? But he disobeys him and accepts Islam. Then he sits waiting for him, on the path to emigration, and he says: Will you emigrate and leave behind your land and sky? The one who emigrates is like a horse tethered to a peg. But he disobeys him and emigrates. Then he sits, waiting for him, on the path to Jihad, and he says: Will you fight in Jihad when it will cost you your life and your wealth? You will fight and be killed, and your wife will remarry, and your wealth will be divided. But he disobeys him and fights in Jihad.’ The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: ‘Whoever does that, then he had a right from Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, that He will admit him to paradise. Whoever is killed, he has a right from Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, that He will admit him to Paradise. If he is drowned, he has a right from Allah that He will admit him to paradise, or whoever is thrown by his mount and his neck is broken, he had a right from Allah that he will admit him to Paradise.'”

أَخْبَرَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النَّضْرِ، هَاشِمُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَقِيلٍ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَقِيلٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ الْمُسَيَّبِ، عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ، عَنْ سَبْرَةَ بْنِ أَبِي فَاكِهٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ ‏”‏ إِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ قَعَدَ لاِبْنِ آدَمَ بِأَطْرُقِهِ فَقَعَدَ لَهُ بِطَرِيقِ الإِسْلاَمِ فَقَالَ تُسْلِمُ وَتَذَرُ دِينَكَ وَدِينَ آبَائِكَ وَآبَاءِ أَبِيكَ فَعَصَاهُ فَأَسْلَمَ ثُمَّ قَعَدَ لَهُ بِطَرِيقِ الْهِجْرَةِ فَقَالَ تُهَاجِرُ وَتَدَعُ أَرْضَكَ وَسَمَاءَكَ وَإِنَّمَا مَثَلُ الْمُهَاجِرِ كَمَثَلِ الْفَرَسِ فِي الطِّوَلِ فَعَصَاهُ فَهَاجَرَ ثُمَّ قَعَدَ لَهُ بِطَرِيقِ الْجِهَادِ فَقَالَ تُجَاهِدُ فَهُوَ جَهْدُ النَّفْسِ وَالْمَالِ فَتُقَاتِلُ فَتُقْتَلُ فَتُنْكَحُ الْمَرْأَةُ وَيُقْسَمُ الْمَالُ فَعَصَاهُ فَجَاهَدَ ‏”‏ ‏.‏ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏”‏ فَمَنْ فَعَلَ ذَلِكَ كَانَ حَقًّا عَلَى اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ أَنْ يُدْخِلَهُ الْجَنَّةَ وَمَنْ قُتِلَ كَانَ حَقًّا عَلَى اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ أَنْ يُدْخِلَهُ الْجَنَّةَ وَإِنْ غَرِقَ كَانَ حَقًّا عَلَى اللَّهِ أَنْ يُدْخِلَهُ الْجَنَّةَ أَوْ وَقَصَتْهُ دَابَّتُهُ كَانَ حَقًّا عَلَى اللَّهِ أَنْ يُدْخِلَهُ الْجَنَّةَ ‏”‏ ‏.‏

[3] Affan told us, Hammad bin Zaid told us, Asim bin Bahdala told us, on the authority of Abi Wael, on the authority of Abdullah bin Masoud, he said: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, drew a line for us one day, then said: “This is God’s way.” Then he drew lines to his right. And on his left, then he said: “These are paths, and on every path there is a devil calling to it.” Then he recited: “And this is my straight path.” So follow him, and do not follow the paths, lest they separate you from his path. [4] Narrated `Aisha: On the day (of the battle) of Uhud when the pagans were defeated, Satan shouted, “O slaves of Allah! Beware of the forces at your back,” and on that the Muslims of the front files fought with the Muslims of the back files (thinking they were pagans). Hudhaifa looked back to see his father “Al-Yaman,” (being attacked by the Muslims). He shouted, “O Allah’s Slaves! My father! My father!” By Allah, they did not stop till they killed him. Hudhaifa said, “May Allah forgive you.” `Urwa said that Hudhaifa continued to do good (invoking Allah to forgive the killer of his father till he met Allah (i.e. died).

حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّاءُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، قَالَ هِشَامٌ أَخْبَرَنَا عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، رضى الله عنها قَالَتْ لَمَّا كَانَ يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ هُزِمَ الْمُشْرِكُونَ فَصَاحَ إِبْلِيسُ أَىْ عِبَادَ اللَّهِ أُخْرَاكُمْ‏.‏ فَرَجَعَتْ أُولاَهُمْ فَاجْتَلَدَتْ هِيَ وَأُخْرَاهُمْ، فَنَظَرَ حُذَيْفَةُ فَإِذَا هُوَ بِأَبِيهِ الْيَمَانِ فَقَالَ أَىْ عِبَادَ اللَّهِ أَبِي أَبِي‏.‏ فَوَاللَّهِ مَا احْتَجَزُوا حَتَّى قَتَلُوهُ، فَقَالَ حُذَيْفَةُ غَفَرَ اللَّهُ لَكُمْ‏.‏ قَالَ عُرْوَةُ فَمَا زَالَتْ فِي حُذَيْفَةَ مِنْهُ بَقِيَّةُ خَيْرٍ حَتَّى لَحِقَ بِاللَّهِ‏.‏

[5] Abu Qatadah narrated that: The Prophet (S) said to Abu Bakr: “I passed by you while you were reciting and your voice was low.” He said: “I let He who, I was consulting hear.” He said: “Raise your voice.” Then he said to Umar: “I passed by while you were reciting and your voice was loud.” So he said: “I repel drowsiness and keep Ash-Shaitan away.” So he said: “Lower your voice.”

حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلاَنَ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، هُوَ السَّالَحِينِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ الْبُنَانِيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ رَبَاحٍ الأَنْصَارِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ لأَبِي بَكْرٍ ‏”‏ مَرَرْتُ بِكَ وَأَنْتَ تَقْرَأُ وَأَنْتَ تَخْفِضُ مِنْ صَوْتِكَ ‏”‏ ‏.‏ فَقَالَ إِنِّي أَسْمَعْتُ مَنْ نَاجَيْتُ ‏.‏ قَالَ ‏”‏ ارْفَعْ قَلِيلاً ‏”‏ ‏.‏ وَقَالَ لِعُمَرَ ‏”‏ مَرَرْتُ بِكَ وَأَنْتَ تَقْرَأُ وَأَنْتَ تَرْفَعُ صَوْتَكَ ‏”‏ ‏.‏ قَالَ إِنِّي أُوقِظُ الْوَسْنَانَ وَأَطْرُدُ الشَّيْطَانَ قَالَ ‏”‏ اخْفِضْ قَلِيلاً ‏”‏ ‏.‏ قَالَ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ وَأُمِّ هَانِئٍ وَأَنَسٍ وَأُمِّ سَلَمَةَ وَابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ ‏.‏ وَإِنَّمَا أَسْنَدَهُ يَحْيَى بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ وَأَكْثَرُ النَّاسِ إِنَّمَا رَوَوْا هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ رَبَاحٍ مُرْسَلاً ‏.‏

[6] Narrated Ibn `Abbas: All the idols which were worshiped by the people of Noah were worshiped by the Arabs later on. As for the idol Wadd, it was worshiped by the tribe of Kalb at Daumat-al-Jandal; Suwa` was the idol of (the tribe of) Hudhail; Yaghouth was worshiped by (the tribe of) Murad and then by Bani Ghutaif at Al-Jurf near Saba; Ya`uq was the idol of Hamdan, and Nasr was the idol of Himyar, the branch of Dhi-al-Kala`. The names (of the idols) formerly belonged to some pious men of the people of Noah, and when they died Satan inspired their people to (prepare and place idols at the places where they used to sit, and to call those idols by their names. The people did so, but the idols were not worshiped till those people (who initiated them) had died and the origin of the idols had become obscure, whereupon people began worshiping them.

حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُوسَى، أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، وَقَالَ، عَطَاءٌ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ صَارَتِ الأَوْثَانُ الَّتِي كَانَتْ فِي قَوْمِ نُوحٍ فِي الْعَرَبِ بَعْدُ، أَمَّا وُدٌّ كَانَتْ لِكَلْبٍ بِدَوْمَةِ الْجَنْدَلِ، وَأَمَّا سُوَاعٌ كَانَتْ لِهُذَيْلٍ، وَأَمَّا يَغُوثُ فَكَانَتْ لِمُرَادٍ ثُمَّ لِبَنِي غُطَيْفٍ بِالْجُرُفِ عِنْدَ سَبَا، وَأَمَّا يَعُوقُ فَكَانَتْ لِهَمْدَانَ، وَأَمَّا نَسْرٌ فَكَانَتْ لِحِمْيَرَ، لآلِ ذِي الْكَلاَعِ‏.‏ أَسْمَاءُ رِجَالٍ صَالِحِينَ مِنْ قَوْمِ نُوحٍ، فَلَمَّا هَلَكُوا أَوْحَى الشَّيْطَانُ إِلَى قَوْمِهِمْ أَنِ انْصِبُوا إِلَى مَجَالِسِهِمُ الَّتِي كَانُوا يَجْلِسُونَ أَنْصَابًا، وَسَمُّوهَا بِأَسْمَائِهِمْ فَفَعَلُوا فَلَمْ تُعْبَدْ حَتَّى إِذَا هَلَكَ أُولَئِكَ وَتَنَسَّخَ الْعِلْمُ عُبِدَتْ‏.‏

[7] Sa’id b. Musayyab told that his father said on the authority of his grandfather (Hazn): The Prophet (ﷺ) asked: What is your name? He replied: Hazn (rugged). He said: You are Sahl (smooth). He said: No, smooth is trodden upon and disgraced. Sa’id said: I then thought that ruggedness would remain among us after it.

AbuDawud said: The Prophet (ﷺ) changed the names al-‘As, Aziz, Atalah, Shaytan, al-Hakam, Ghurab, Hubab, and Shihab and called him Hisham. He changed the name Harb (war) and called him Silm (peace). He changed the name al-Munba’ith (one who lies) and called him al-Mudtaji’ (one who stands up). He changed the name of a land Afrah (barren) and called it Khadrah (green). He changed the name Shi’b ad-Dalalah (the mountain path of a stray), the name of a mountain path and called it Shi’b al-Huda (mountain path of guidance). He changed the name Banu az-Zinyah (children of fornication) and called them Banu ar-Rushdah (children of those who are on the right path), and changed the name Banu Mughwiyah (children of a woman who allures and goes astray), and called them Banu Rushdah (children of a woman who is on the right path).

AbuDawud said: I omitted the chains of these for the sake of brevity.

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ لَهُ ‏”‏ مَا اسْمُكَ ‏”‏ ‏.‏ قَالَ حَزْنٌ ‏.‏ قَالَ ‏”‏ أَنْتَ سَهْلٌ ‏”‏ ‏.‏ قَالَ لاَ السَّهْلُ يُوطَأُ وَيُمْتَهَنُ ‏.‏ قَالَ سَعِيدٌ فَظَنَنْتُ أَنَّهُ سَيُصِيبُنَا بَعْدَهُ حُزُونَةٌ ‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ وَغَيَّرَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم اسْمَ الْعَاصِ وَعَزِيزٍ وَعَتَلَةَ وَشَيْطَانٍ وَالْحَكَمِ وَغُرَابٍ وَحُبَابٍ وَشِهَابٍ فَسَمَّاهُ هِشَامًا وَسَمَّى حَرْبًا سَلْمًا وَسَمَّى الْمُضْطَجِعَ الْمُنْبَعِثَ وَأَرْضًا تُسَمَّى عَفِرَةَ سَمَّاهَا خَضِرَةَ وَشِعْبَ الضَّلاَلَةِ سَمَّاهُ شِعْبَ الْهُدَى وَبَنُو الزِّنْيَةِ سَمَّاهُمْ بَنِي الرِّشْدَةِ وَسَمَّى بَنِي مُغْوِيَةَ بَنِي رِشْدَةَ ‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ تَرَكْتُ أَسَانِيدَهَا لِلاِخْتِصَارِ ‏.‏

[8] It was narrated from Mus’ab bin Sa’d that his father said: “We were talking about something, and I had only recently left Jahiliyyah behind, so I swore by Al-Lat and Al-‘Uzza. The Companions of the Messenger of Allah said to me: ‘What a bad thing you have said! Go to the Messenger of Allah and tell him, for we think that you have committed Kufr.’ So I went to him and told him, and he said to me: ‘Say: La ilaha illallah wahdahu la sharika lah (There is none worthy of worship except Allah alone, without partner) three times, and seek refuge with Allah from the Shaitan three times, and spit dryly to your left three times, and do not say that again.'”

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ مُصْعَبِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ كُنَّا نَذْكُرُ بَعْضَ الأَمْرِ وَأَنَا حَدِيثُ، عَهْدٍ بِالْجَاهِلِيَّةِ فَحَلَفْتُ بِاللاَّتِ وَالْعُزَّى فَقَالَ لِي أَصْحَابُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِئْسَ مَا قُلْتَ ائْتِ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَأَخْبِرْهُ فَإِنَّا لاَ نَرَاكَ إِلاَّ قَدْ كَفَرْتَ فَأَتَيْتُهُ فَأَخْبَرْتُهُ فَقَالَ لِي ‏ “‏ قُلْ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لاَ شَرِيكَ لَهُ ثَلاَثَ مَرَّاتٍ وَتَعَوَّذْ بِاللَّهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ ثَلاَثَ مَرَّاتٍ وَاتْفُلْ عَنْ يَسَارِكَ ثَلاَثَ مَرَّاتٍ وَلاَ تَعُدْ لَهُ ‏”‏ ‏.‏

[9] Abu Sa’id al-Khudri (Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) observed i’tikaf in the middle ten days of Ramadan to seek Lailat-ul-Qadr before it was made manifest to him. When (these nights) were over, he commanded to strike the tent. Then it was made manifest to him that (Lailat-ul-Qadr) was in the last ten nights (of Ramadan), and commanded to pitch the tent (again). He then came to the people and said: O people, Lailat-ul-Qadr was made manifest to me and I came out to inform you about it that two persons came contending with each other and there was a devil along with them and I forgot it. So seek it in the last ten nights of Ramadan. Seek it on the ninth, on the seventh and on the fifth. I (one of the narrators) said: Abu Sa’id, you know more than us about numbers. He said: Yes, indeed we have better right than you. I said: What is this ninth, seventh, and fifth? He said: When twenty-one (nights are over) and the twenty-second begins, it is the ninth, and when twenty-three (nights) are over, that which follows (the last night) is the seventh, and when twenty-five nights are over, what follows it is fifth. Ibn Khallad said: Instead of the word Yahliqan (contending), he said Yakhtasiman, (they are disputing).

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، وَأَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ خَلاَّدٍ قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الأَعْلَى، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ، عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، – رضى الله عنه – قَالَ اعْتَكَفَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم الْعَشْرَ الأَوْسَطَ مِنْ رَمَضَانَ يَلْتَمِسُ لَيْلَةَ الْقَدْرِ قَبْلَ أَنْ تُبَانَ لَهُ فَلَمَّا انْقَضَيْنَ أَمَرَ بِالْبِنَاءِ فَقُوِّضَ ثُمَّ أُبِينَتْ لَهُ أَنَّهَا فِي الْعَشْرِ الأَوَاخِرِ فَأَمَرَ بِالْبِنَاءِ فَأُعِيدَ ثُمَّ خَرَجَ عَلَى النَّاسِ فَقَالَ ‏ “‏ يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنَّهَا كَانَتْ أُبِينَتْ لِي لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ وَإِنِّي خَرَجْتُ لأُخْبِرَكُمْ بِهَا فَجَاءَ رَجُلاَنِ يَحْتَقَّانِ مَعَهُمَا الشَّيْطَانُ فَنُسِّيتُهَا فَالْتَمِسُوهَا فِي الْعَشْرِ الأَوَاخِرِ مِنْ رَمَضَانَ الْتَمِسُوهَا فِي التَّاسِعَةِ وَالسَّابِعَةِ وَالْخَامِسَةِ ‏”‏ ‏.‏ قَالَ قُلْتُ يَا أَبَا سَعِيدٍ إِنَّكُمْ أَعْلَمُ بِالْعَدَدِ مِنَّا ‏.‏ قَالَ أَجَلْ ‏.‏ نَحْنُ أَحَقُّ بِذَلِكَ مِنْكُمْ ‏.‏ قَالَ قُلْتُ مَا التَّاسِعَةُ وَالسَّابِعَةُ وَالْخَامِسَةُ قَالَ إِذَا مَضَتْ وَاحِدَةٌ وَعِشْرُونَ فَالَّتِي تَلِيهَا ثِنْتَيْنِ وَعِشْرِينَ وَهْىَ التَّاسِعَةُ فَإِذَا مَضَتْ ثَلاَثٌ وَعِشْرُونَ فَالَّتِي تَلِيهَا السَّابِعَةُ فَإِذَا مَضَى خَمْسٌ وَعِشْرُونَ فَالَّتِي تَلِيهَا الْخَامِسَةُ .‏ وَقَالَ ابْنُ خَلاَّدٍ مَكَانَ يَحْتَقَّانِ يَخْتَصِمَانِ ‏.‏

[10] Narrated Sa`d bin Abi Waqqas: Once `Umar asked the leave to see Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) in whose company there were some Quraishi women who were talking to him and asking him for more financial support raising their voices. When `Umar asked permission to enter the women got up (quickly) hurrying to screen themselves. When Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) admitted `Umar, Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) was smiling, `Umar asked, “O Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ)! May Allah keep you in happiness always.” Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) said, “I am astonished at these women who were with me. As soon as they heard your voice, they hastened to screen themselves.” `Umar said, “O Allah’s Apostle! You have more right to be feared by them.” Then he addressed (those women) saying, “O enemies of your own souls! Do you fear me and not Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) ?” They replied. “Yes, for you are a fearful and fierce man as compared with Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ).” On that Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) said (to `Umar), “By Him in Whose Hands my life is, whenever Satan sees you taking a path, he follows a path other than yours.”

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، عَنْ صَالِحٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، أَنَّ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ سَعْدِ بْنِ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ، أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ أَبَاهُ سَعْدَ بْنَ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ قَالَ اسْتَأْذَنَ عُمَرُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم، وَعِنْدَهُ نِسَاءٌ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ يُكَلِّمْنَهُ وَيَسْتَكْثِرْنَهُ، عَالِيَةً أَصْوَاتُهُنَّ، فَلَمَّا اسْتَأْذَنَ عُمَرُ، قُمْنَ يَبْتَدِرْنَ الْحِجَابَ، فَأَذِنَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم، وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَضْحَكُ، فَقَالَ عُمَرُ أَضْحَكَ اللَّهُ سِنَّكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ‏.‏ قَالَ ‏”‏ عَجِبْتُ مِنْ هَؤُلاَءِ اللاَّتِي كُنَّ عِنْدِي، فَلَمَّا سَمِعْنَ صَوْتَكَ ابْتَدَرْنَ الْحِجَابَ ‏”‏‏.‏ قَالَ عُمَرُ فَأَنْتَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ كُنْتَ أَحَقَّ أَنْ يَهَبْنَ‏.‏ ثُمَّ قَالَ أَىْ عَدُوَّاتِ أَنْفُسِهِنَّ، أَتَهَبْنَنِي وَلاَ تَهَبْنَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قُلْنَ نَعَمْ، أَنْتَ أَفَظُّ وَأَغْلَظُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم‏.‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏”‏ وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ مَا لَقِيَكَ الشَّيْطَانُ قَطُّ سَالِكًا فَجًّا إِلاَّ سَلَكَ فَجًّا غَيْرَ فَجِّكَ ‏”‏‏.‏

[11] Narrated AbuTha’labah al-Khushani: When the people encamped, (the narrator Amr ibn Uthman al-Himsi) said: When the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) encamped, the people scattered in the glens and wadis. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Your scattering in these glens and wadis is only of the devil. They afterwards kept close together when they encamped to such an extent that it used to be said that if a cloth were spread over them, it would cover them all.

حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عُثْمَانَ الْحِمْصِيُّ، وَيَزِيدُ بْنُ قُبَيْسٍ، – مِنْ أَهْلِ جَبَلَةَ سَاحِلِ حِمْصٍ وَهَذَا لَفْظُ يَزِيدَ – قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْعَلاَءِ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ مُسْلِمَ بْنَ مِشْكَمٍ أَبَا عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ يَقُولُ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو ثَعْلَبَةَ الْخُشَنِيُّ قَالَ كَانَ النَّاسُ إِذَا نَزَلُوا مَنْزِلاً – قَالَ عَمْرٌو كَانَ النَّاسُ إِذَا نَزَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم مَنْزِلاً – تَفَرَّقُوا فِي الشِّعَابِ وَالأَوْدِيَةِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏ “‏ إِنَّ تَفَرُّقَكُمْ فِي هَذِهِ الشِّعَابِ وَالأَوْدِيَةِ إِنَّمَا ذَلِكُمْ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ ‏”‏ ‏.‏ فَلَمْ يَنْزِلْ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ مَنْزِلاً إِلاَّ انْضَمَّ بَعْضُهُمْ إِلَى بَعْضٍ حَتَّى يُقَالُ لَوْ بُسِطَ عَلَيْهِمْ ثَوْبٌ لَعَمَّهُمْ ‏.‏

[12] Narrated Buraidah: “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) went out for one of his expeditions, then when he came back, a black slave girl came to him and said: ‘O Messenger of Allah! I took an oath that if Allah returned you safely, I would beat the Duff before you and sing.’ So the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said to her: ‘If you have taken an oath, then beat it, and if you have not then do not.’ So she started to beat the Duff, and Abu Bakr entered while she was beating it. Then ‘Ali entered while she was beating it, then ‘Uthman entered while she was beating it. Then ‘Umar entered, so she put the Duff under her, and sat upon it. So the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: ‘Indeed Ash-Shaitan is afraid of you O ‘Umar! I was sitting while she beat it, and then Abu Bakr entered while she was beating it, then ‘Ali entered while she was beating it, then ‘Uthman entered while she was beating it, then when you entered O ‘Umar and she put away the Duff.’

حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ حُرَيْثٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ وَاقِدٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ بُرَيْدَةَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبِي بُرَيْدَةَ، يَقُولُ خَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي بَعْضِ مَغَازِيهِ فَلَمَّا انْصَرَفَ جَاءَتْ جَارِيَةٌ سَوْدَاءُ فَقَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنِّي كُنْتُ نَذَرْتُ إِنْ رَدَّكَ اللَّهُ سَالِمًا أَنْ أَضْرِبَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْكَ بِالدُّفِّ وَأَتَغَنَّى ‏.‏ فَقَالَ لَهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏”‏ إِنْ كُنْتِ نَذَرْتِ فَاضْرِبِي وَإِلاَّ فَلاَ ‏”‏ ‏.‏ فَجَعَلَتْ تَضْرِبُ فَدَخَلَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ وَهِيَ تَضْرِبُ ثُمَّ دَخَلَ عَلِيٌّ وَهِيَ تَضْرِبُ ثُمَّ دَخَلَ عُثْمَانُ وَهِيَ تَضْرِبُ ثُمَّ دَخَلَ عُمَرُ فَأَلْقَتِ الدُّفَّ تَحْتَ اسْتِهَا ثُمَّ قَعَدَتْ عَلَيْهِ ‏.‏ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏”‏ إِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ لَيَخَافُ مِنْكَ يَا عُمَرُ إِنِّي كُنْتُ جَالِسًا وَهِيَ تَضْرِبُ فَدَخَلَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ وَهِيَ تَضْرِبُ ثُمَّ دَخَلَ عَلِيٌّ وَهِيَ تَضْرِبُ ثُمَّ دَخَلَ عُثْمَانُ وَهِيَ تَضْرِبُ فَلَمَّا دَخَلْتَ أَنْتَ يَا عُمَرُ أَلْقَتِ الدُّفَّ ‏”‏ ‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ غَرِيبٌ مِنْ حَدِيثِ بُرَيْدَةَ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ عُمَرَ وَسَعْدِ بْنِ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ وَعَائِشَةَ ‏.‏

[13] Narrated Ibn ‘Umar: that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “O Allah bless us in our Sham! O Allah bless us in our Yemen.” They said: “And in our Najd” He said: “O Allah bless us in our Sham and bless us in our Yemen.” They said: “And in our Najd” He said: “Earthquakes are there, and tribulations are there.” Or he said: “The horn of Shaitan comes from there.”

حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ آدَمَ ابْنُ بِنْتِ أَزْهَرَ السَّمَّانِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي جَدِّي، أَزْهَرُ السَّمَّانُ عَنِ ابْنِ عَوْنٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏”‏ اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لَنَا فِي شَامِنَا اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لَنَا فِي يَمَنِنَا ‏”‏ ‏.‏ قَالُوا وَفِي نَجْدِنَا ‏.‏ فَقَالَ ‏”‏ اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لَنَا فِي شَامِنَا وَبَارِكْ لَنَا فِي يَمَنِنَا ‏”‏ ‏.‏ قَالُوا وَفِي نَجْدِنَا ‏.‏ قَالَ ‏”‏ هُنَالِكَ الزَّلاَزِلُ وَالْفِتَنُ وَبِهَا أَوْ قَالَ مِنْهَا يَخْرُجُ قَرْنُ الشَّيْطَانِ ‏”‏ ‏.‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ غَرِيبٌ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ مِنْ حَدِيثِ ابْنِ عَوْنٍ ‏.‏ وَقَدْ رُوِيَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثُ أَيْضًا عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏.‏

[14] It was narrated from ‘Abdullah that some people came to him and said: “A man among us married a woman, but he did not name a dowry for her, and he did not have intercourse with her before he died.” ‘Abdullah said: ‘Since I left the Messenger of Allah I have never been asked a more difficult question than this. Go to someone else.’ They kept coming to him for a month, then at the end of that they said: ‘Who shall we ask if we do not ask you? You are one of the most prominent Companions of Muhammad in this land and we cannot find anyone else.’ He said: ‘I will say what I think, and if it is correct then it is from Allah alone, with no partner, and if it is wrong then it is from me and from the Shaitan, and Allah and His Messenger have nothing to do with it. I think she should be given a dowry like that of her peers and no less, with no injustice, and she may inherit from him, and she has to observe the ‘Iddah, four months and ten days.'” He said: “And that was heard by some people from Ashja’, who stood up and said: ‘We bear witness that you have passed the same judgment as the Messenger of Allah did concerning a woman from among us who was called Birwa’ bint Washiq.'” He said: “Abdullah was never seen looking so happy as he did on that day, except with having accepted Islam.”

أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْهِرٍ، عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ أَبِي هِنْدٍ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، أَنَّهُ أَتَاهُ قَوْمٌ فَقَالُوا إِنَّ رَجُلاً مِنَّا تَزَوَّجَ امْرَأَةً وَلَمْ يَفْرِضْ لَهَا صَدَاقًا وَلَمْ يَجْمَعْهَا إِلَيْهِ حَتَّى مَاتَ ‏.‏ فَقَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ مَا سُئِلْتُ مُنْذُ فَارَقْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَشَدَّ عَلَىَّ مِنْ هَذِهِ فَأْتُوا غَيْرِي ‏.‏ فَاخْتَلَفُوا إِلَيْهِ فِيهَا شَهْرًا ثُمَّ قَالُوا لَهُ فِي آخِرِ ذَلِكَ مَنْ نَسْأَلُ إِنْ لَمْ نَسْأَلْكَ وَأَنْتَ مِنْ جِلَّةِ أَصْحَابِ مُحَمَّدٍ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِهَذَا الْبَلَدِ وَلاَ نَجِدُ غَيْرَكَ ‏.‏ قَالَ سَأَقُولُ فِيهَا بِجَهْدِ رَأْيِي فَإِنْ كَانَ صَوَابًا فَمِنَ اللَّهِ وَحْدَهُ لاَ شَرِيكَ لَهُ وَإِنْ كَانَ خَطَأً فَمِنِّي وَمِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ وَاللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ مِنْهُ بُرَآءُ أُرَى أَنْ أَجْعَلَ لَهَا صَدَاقَ نِسَائِهَا لاَ وَكْسَ وَلاَ شَطَطَ وَلَهَا الْمِيرَاثُ وَعَلَيْهَا الْعِدَّةُ أَرْبَعَةَ أَشْهُرٍ وَعَشْرًا ‏.‏ قَالَ وَذَلِكَ بِسَمْعِ أُنَاسٍ مِنْ أَشْجَعَ فَقَامُوا فَقَالُوا نَشْهَدُ أَنَّكَ قَضَيْتَ بِمَا قَضَى بِهِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي امْرَأَةٍ مِنَّا يُقَالُ لَهَا بِرْوَعُ بِنْتُ وَاشِقٍ ‏.‏ قَالَ فَمَا رُئِيَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ فَرِحَ فَرْحَةً يَوْمَئِذٍ إِلاَّ بِإِسْلاَمِهِ ‏.‏

[15] Narrated Ubaid bin Umair: Once `Umar (bin Al-Khattab) said to the companions of the Prophet (ﷺ) “What do you think about this Verse: –“Does any of you wish that he should have a garden?” They replied, “Allah knows best.” `Umar became angry and said, “Either say that you know or say that you do not know!” On that Ibn `Abbas said, “O chief of the believers! I have something in my mind to say about it.” `Umar said, “O son of my brother! Say, and do not under estimate yourself.” Ibn `Abbas said, “This Verse has been set up as an example for deeds.” `Umar said, “What kind of deeds?” Ibn `Abbas said, “For deeds.” `Umar said, “This is an example for a rich man who does goods out of obedience of Allah and then Allah sends him Satan whereupon he commits sins till all his good deeds are lost.”

حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ، أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ،‏.‏ قَالَ وَسَمِعْتُ أَخَاهُ أَبَا بَكْرِ بْنَ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ، قَالَ قَالَ عُمَرُ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ يَوْمًا لأَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِيمَ تَرَوْنَ هَذِهِ الآيَةَ نَزَلَتْ ‏{‏أَيَوَدُّ أَحَدُكُمْ أَنْ تَكُونَ لَهُ جَنَّةٌ‏}‏ قَالُوا اللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ‏.‏ فَغَضِبَ عُمَرُ فَقَالَ قُولُوا نَعْلَمُ أَوْ لاَ نَعْلَمُ‏.‏ فَقَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ فِي نَفْسِي مِنْهَا شَىْءٌ يَا أَمِيرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ‏.‏ قَالَ عُمَرُ يَا ابْنَ أَخِي قُلْ وَلاَ تَحْقِرْ نَفْسَكَ‏.‏ قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ ضُرِبَتْ مَثَلاً لِعَمَلٍ‏.‏ قَالَ عُمَرُ أَىُّ عَمَلٍ قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ لِعَمَلٍ‏.‏ قَالَ عُمَرُ لِرَجُلٍ غَنِيٍّ يَعْمَلُ بِطَاعَةِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ، ثُمَّ بَعَثَ اللَّهُ لَهُ الشَّيْطَانَ فَعَمِلَ بِالْمَعَاصِي حَتَّى أَغْرَقَ أَعْمَالَهُ‏.‏ ‏{‏فَصُرْهُنَّ‏}‏ قَطِّعْهُنَّ‏.‏
