As Salaamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu

Pichle dars me hum Surah al-Baqarah ki 14wi ayaat ki tafseer me do alfaaz ke maane sunn rahe the, aur aaj ke dars me Lafz-e-Shaitan, jo ke hamara khaas dost hai, khaas dost main kis liye keh raha hoon, iss ki tafseel aagay janengay.

Vs. No. 14

وَاِذَا لَقُوۡا الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا قَالُوۡاۤ اٰمَنَّا ۖۚ وَاِذَا خَلَوۡا اِلٰى شَيٰطِيۡنِهِمۡۙ قَالُوۡاۤ اِنَّا مَعَكُمۡۙ اِنَّمَا نَحۡنُ مُسۡتَهۡزِءُوۡنَ‏

To jab ye momino se milte hain, unn se communicate karte hain, ya momino ki mehfilon me jaate hain to kehte hain ke, hum iman le aye hain. Lekin jab wo akele, khilwat me, apne jaise shayateen ke saath hote hain…to unn se kehte hain ke, hum tumhare saath hain…

To ab iss ayat ka teesra lafz aur Surah al-Fatiha se parrhne ki tarteeb ka 58wa lafz Shayaatinihim hai,

58. SHAYAATINIHIM (Their devils) شَيَاطِيْنِهِمْ ( ش ط ن ) 2:14

Lafz-e-Shayatihihim ka root ya maddah (ش ط ن) hai, ab aam taur par urdu me bhi hum shaitan hi kehte hain, English me jisay hum devil kehte hain, To Quran ke mutabiq, Shaitan kaun hai?

  • Who is the devil according to Quran?
  • Iblis is the devil, Iblis shaitan hai, jo Adam (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَام) se wabasta tha,[1]
  • Iblis ki taareef Surah Kahf me Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى) farma rahe hain ke,

وَاِذۡ قُلۡنَا لِلۡمَلٰۤٮِٕكَةِ اسۡجُدُوۡا لِاٰدَمَ فَسَجَدُوۡۤا اِلَّاۤ اِبۡلِيۡسَؕ كَانَ مِنَ الۡجِنِّ فَفَسَقَ عَنۡ اَمۡرِ رَبِّهٖؕ اَفَتَـتَّخِذُوۡنَهٗ وَذُرِّيَّتَهٗۤ اَوۡلِيَآءَ مِنۡ دُوۡنِىۡ وَهُمۡ لَـكُمۡ عَدُوٌّ ؕ…

  • Aur jab humne Malaik se kaha ke, sajda karo Adam ko, to unhone sajda kiya, magar Iblis ne nahi kiya, wo jinno me se tha, chunache uss ne apne Rabb ki na farmani ki, yani apne paalne waale malik ke hukum ko na mana aur hadd se bahar nikal gaya, kya tum uss ko aur uss ki aulaad ko Mere siway dost banate ho, jab ke wo tumhara dushman hai…[2]
  • To pata chala ke Iblis ki aulaad hai, phir Surah al-Aaraaf me farmaya ke uss ka qabila hai,[3] aur Surah Shoa’ara me farmaya ke uss ki fauj hai.[4]
  • Ghaliban ye teeno alfaaz, Iblis ki aulad ki taraf hi ishara kar rahe hain, jaisa ke Adam (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَام) ki aulad, jin ke baare me Iblis ne kaha tha ke, wo unn ko apne qaaboo me kar lega, siway Allah ke chand khaas bandon ke.
  • Lafz-e-Ins ki tafseer me humne tafseel me bayan kiya tha ke, jinn aur ins ek giroh hain aur ek doosre se wabasta hain, Rasoolullah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ki hadith ke hawale se bataya tha ke, yani Iblis ki nasl se ek shakhs – Adam (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ki nasl ke ek shakhs se wabasta hai, jaisa ke Sahih Muslim ki uss hadith se pata chalta hai.
  • Iss wabastagi ke ba-wajood, Quran me Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى) saaf taur par Iblis ki haqeeqat bayan kar rahe hain ke, Iblis ko banaya kis ne?
  • Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى) hi uss ke bhi khaliq hain, aur Iblis ko banane ka maqsad, Surah Saba ki 21wi ayat me bayan kiya ke, Iblis ko unn par (yani insaano par) koi iqtedaar ya koi ekhtiyaar hasil nahi tha, magar ye ke hum unn logon ko jo aakhirat par iman rakhte hain alag kar dein, unn ki nishandehi kar dein, unn logon se jo aakhirat par iman nahi rakhte ya uss ke baare me shak me parrhe huwe hain…[5]
  • To pata chala ke shaitan ka kaam insaan ka aakhirat se yaqeen hatta dena hai, aur wo ye kaam kaise karta hai?
  • Iss ka jawab Surah an-Nisa ki 120wi ayat me aya hai ke, wo insaan ko waade karta hai aur ummeed dilata hai, aur jo kuch shaitan unhe wada karta hai wo dhoka hi dhoka hai.[6]
  • Jab Iblis ko hukum huwa Adam (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَام) ko sajda kare, uss ne inkaar kar diya, ye keh kar ke wo Adam (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَام) se behtar hai, aur Mujhe tu ne Adam se pehle paida kiya, aur aag se paida kiya jab ke adam ko mitti se paida kiya.[7]
  • To Iblis ki anaa me, uss ne seniority ya buzurgi ka dawa kiya – main adam se umar me bada hoon aur superiority ya bartari ka dawa kiya – main adam se behtar hoon.
  • Main aag se banaya gaya hoon, yani energy se aur Adam mitti se banaya gaya hai, jo ke matter hai. To iss tareeqe se main uss se behtar hoon.
  • To Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى) ne Iblis ko zaleel-o-khaar karke bhaga diya, uss ke takabbur ki wajah se.
  • To Iblis ne Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى) se mohlat maang li, uss din tak, jis din log qabron se utthaye jayenge. To Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى) ne usay mohlat de di, to Iblis ne kaha ke,
    • jaisa tu ne mujhe Adam (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَام) ki wajah se gumrah kiya, to main bhi laaziman unn ke liye (yani insaano ke liye) ghaat laga kar baitthoonga, tere seedhe raaste par, sirat al-mustaqeem par.
    • Aur main har taraf se hamla karoonga inn par, aur tu inn me se aksar logon ko shukr karne wala na payega.[8]
    • Siway unn ke jo Tere khalis bande hain.[9]
  • Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى) ne farmaya ke, nikal ja yahan se buray haal me mardood ho kar, lafz-e-rajeem ki tareef hum sunn chuke hain, pathar maar kar bhaga dene ke aate hain, aur phir Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى) ne farmaya ke, jo log teri paiwi karenge, Main unn ko aur tum sab se jahannam ko bhar doonga.[10]
    • To pata chala ke Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى) ne Iblis ko ijazat di insaano ko bhatkaane ki, aur uss ko mohlat di, Qiyamat ke aane tak.
    • Warna Iblis ki kya majaal ke wo insaano ko bhatka bhi sakay, ya aisa koi kaam kare jis ki usay ijazat nahi.
    • Aur khaas baat ye hai ke, Iblis ne bhi Allah ki izzat ki qasam khayee ke main inhe bhatkaoonga.
    • Lekin Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى) ke khaas bandon par uss ka koi zor nahi chalega.
  • Phir iss ke baad, Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى) ne Adam (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَام) aur unn ki zawja ko jannat me rehne ka hukum diya aur kaha ke khao aur piyo, jahan se chahte ho, lekin iss darakht ke qareeb na jana, warna zalimeen me shamil ho jaoge.
    • To shaitan ne unn dono ko wasswasa daal kar behkaane laga, takay unn ki satar ki cheezen ya sharmgahein, jo unn se posheeda thi, wo zahir kar de, aur kehne laga ke, tum ko tumhare paalne wale malik ne iss darakht se sirf iss liye mana kiya hai ke, tum farishte na ban jao ya hamesha zinda rehne waale na bann jao.
    • Aur unn se qasam kha kar kehne laga, main to tumhara khair-khwah hoon, I am your well-wisher.
    • To uss ne dhoka de kar unhe mayel kar hi liya, to jab unn dono ne chakh liya uss darakht ke phal ko, to zahir ho gayee unn par unn ki sharmgaahein, aur wo jannat ke darakhton ke pattay todh todh kar apne ooper chipkaane lagay aur satar chhupaane lagay, tab unn ke paalne wale malik ne unn ko pukaara ke, kya maine tum ko iss darakht ke paas jaane se mana nahi kiya tha, aur jataa nahi diya tha ke shaitan tumhara khullam khulla dushman hai.
    • To dono ne arz kiya ke, Aye hamare Rabb, Aye hamare Paalne waale malik, hum ne apne aap par zulm kiya hai, aur agar Aap humein maaf nahi karenge aur Raham nahi karenge, to hum tabah ho jayenge.
    • Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى) ne kaha ke, tum sab jannat se neeche utar jao, ab se tum ek doosre ke dushman ho aur tumhare liye ek waqt-e-khaas tak, zameen par thikaana hai aur zindagi guzaarne ka samaan hai.
    • Yani issi me tumhara jeena hoga, aur issi me tumhara marna bhi hoga aur issi me se tum ko dobara zinda karke nikala jayega.[11]
    • Ye main jo bhi keh raha hoon, uss ke references mere paas maujood hai, aur wo quranicresources website par mil jayenge.
  • Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى) Quran me, Surah YaaSeen ki 60wi ayat me farmate hain ke, Aye Adam ki aulaad, kya maine tum se ahad nahi liya tha, wada nahi liya tha ke, tum shaitaan ki ibadat, uss ki bandagi, uss ki pairwi na karna, kyun ke, wo tumhara khula dushman hai.[12]
  • Shaitan insaano ko burai aur behayayi ka hukum deta hai aur ye bhi ke Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى) ke baare me aise baatein kaho, jin ka tumhe kuch bhi ilm nahi,[13]
    • Inn ayaat me takeed ke saath Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى) ne hume bata diya ke Shaitan hamara khula dushman hai,
    • Lekin hum uss ki koi baat nahi taal’te, Shaitan ki har baat sunte hain, to ye hamara khula dushman to nahi nazar aata,…, khaas dost samajh me ata hai, kyun ke, khaas dost hi ki to,…,har baat maani jaati hai,
    • To iss aitebaar se,…, Shaitan hamara khaas dost huwa na…
  • To ab yahan Shaitan ke khaas doston ki baat aa rahi hai;
    • Surah an-Nisa ki 119wi ayat me shaitan ka statement recorded hai ke, “Aur unn ko gumrah karta aur ummeedein dilata rahoonga, aur ye sikhata rahoonga ke jaanwaron ke kaan cheerte rahein, aur ye bhi kehta rahoonga ke wo Allah ki banayi huwi khilqat ko tabdeel karein aur jis shakhs ne Allah ko chhorrh kar Shaitan ko dost banaya, wo bohot hi khule nuqsaan me padh gaya.[14]
    • Ye Allah ki khilqat me tabdeeli kya hai?
    • Ye LGBTQ+ keh lijiye, ya qaum-e-loot jis par Allah ka azab aya, uss qaum ki copy karna keh lijiye ya mard-mard se shadi kar rahe hain keh lijiye ya auratein-auraton se shadi kar rahe hain.
    • Pehli baat to ye hai ke, ye nature ke ya Allah ki takhleeq ke khilaaf kaam ho raha hai, Allah ke creation ke mutabiq mard-aurat se shadi karna chahiye. Kyun ke issi tareeqe se nasl aagay badhegi.
    • Lekin, ab ye ho raha hai ke, ye log khud bhi confused hain, aur doosron ko bhi confuse karna chah rahe hain.
    • Aurat ka kaam hai bachchon ko paida karna, to iss me operation ke zariye, mardon me auraton ka raham laga kar, ye keh rahe hain ke, Mard bhi bache jann sakta hai, to ye Allah ki khilqat me tabdeeli huwi ke nahi.
    • Ab haal hi me, The Japan Times ki 25-Mar-2023 ki khabar hai ke, Japan ki ek university me, Mard chuhon ke stem cells ko todh modh kar anda banaya gaya aur uss ko doosre chuhe ke nutfe se fertilize kiya gaya.
    • Aur ye process ki efficiency 0.12% hai, to sonch kar dekhiye ke kis hadd tak Shaitan hume bhatka kar, jhooti ummeed dila raha hai ke, iss tareeqe se do Mard,…, bachche paida kar sakte hain…Aur kis hadd tak Allah ki khilqat me tabdeeli karne ke liye amada ho chuka hain…
    • Phir doosri taraf, Allah ki khilqat me tabdeeli ye hai ke, plastic surgery ke zariye, insaan apna chehra, naak, aankh waghairah ko tabdeel kar raha hai. Ab agar kisi ka chehra jal gaya ya koi accident ho gaya jiss ki wajah se koi deformity aa gayee jism me, to uss ko theek karne ke liye cosmetic ya plastic surgery kar rahe hain to iss ki ijazat hai, warna nahi.[15]
    • Aur iss se aagay badh kar, Pedh-paudhon ko, Janwaron ko genetically modify kiya ja raha hai. Jis se jism me toxicity badh rahi hai aur organ failure ka andesha hai.[16]
    • Ye tamam kaam Shaitan hume behka kar, Allah ke creation ko, uss ki khilqat ko tabdeel karwa raha hai.
  • Iss cheez se to Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى) ne, Quran me hume agah kar diya tha, Surah al-Araaf ki 27wi ayat me ek bahut hi emotional andaaz me farmaya ke, Aye Bani Adam,…, (Dekhna kahin) Shaitan tumhe behka na de,…, jis tarah tumhare maa baap ko (behka kar),…, jannat se nikalwa diya tha,…, aur unn se unn ke kapde utarwa diye the, taakay unn ki satar unn ko khol kar dikha de…
  • To Shaitan insaan ko behkata hai, tempt bhi karta hai,[17]
    • Unn se waday karta hai aur unhe jhooti ummeed bhi dilata hai,[18]
    • Achhay aur neki ke kaam bhula bhi deta hai,[19]
    • Buray kaamo ko saja kar, muzayyan karke, decorate kar ke dikhata hai,[20]
    • Shaitani amaal jaise, Sharab aur Juway me mubtala kar deta hai, takay wo chahta hai ke, Sharab aur Juway ki wajah se hum aapas me ek doosre ke dushman ban jaye aur ek doosre se nafrat kare,[21]
    • Shaitan insaano ke beech jhagda daalta hai, baaton ke zariye, conversation ke zariye, to iss liye hume hukum huwa hai ke, hum baat karein to achchi baat karein,[22]
    • Shaitan hume tang dasti se darata hai, jab hum ek achche maqsad ke liye paise kharch karte hain,[23]
    • Shaitan wasswason ke zariye, kamzor kar dene waali bechaini daal deta hai, insaan ke dilon me,[24]
  • Aur jo koi Allah ke zikr se, Allah ki yaad se, Allah ko apne dil-o-dimagh me rakhne se ghafil ho gaya, ya muh pher liya, uss par Hum ek Shaitan musallat kar dete hain, ya muqarrar kar dete hain, to wo uss ka saathi ban jata hai. Aur ye Shaitan unn ko seedhay raaste se rokta rehta hai, aur wo samajhte hain ke wo hidayat par hain.[25]
    • Shaitan insaan par qaabu paaker, Allah ki yaad bhula deta hai,…[26]
    • Shayateen, jinno me se bhi hote hain aur Insaano me se bhi,[27] Quran ki aakhri ayat ki baat ki daleel hai.
  • Shayateen ko Sulaiman (عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَام) ke taabay kar diya tha, jo construction ka kaam karne walay aur samadaron me ghotay lagane walay,…, aur wo bhi,…, jo zanjeeron me jakde huwe the.[28]
  • Aasmaano ko Sarkash Shayateen se mehfooz kar diya gaya hai, siway iss ke, agar koi khabar chura kar bhaagay to uss ke liye ek shihaab, ek jalta huwa aag ka gola tayyar kar diya gaya hai.[29]
  • Aur khaas baat ye hai ke, Shaitan wahi me, Allah ke kalam ke nazil hone me dakhal andaazi nahi kar sakta, aur agar Shaitan Nabiyon aur Rasoolon ke dilon me wasswasay daalta bhi hai,…, to Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى) pehle wasswason se Nabiyon aur Rasoolon ke dilon ko paak karte hain, aur phir Wahi ka nuzool hota hai.[30]
  • Aur iss Quran ko Shaitan le kar nazil nahi huwe, aur na hi, ye kaam karne ke layeq hai, aur na hi, wo iss ki isteta’at rakhte hain.[31] Aur na hi ye Quran kisi Shaitan-e-Mardood ka kalam hai.[32]

Ab ye shaitan se bachne ke kya tareeqe hain, wo bhi Quran me aa gaya hai;

  • Surah al-Aaraaf ke aakhir me farmaya ke, Aur agar shaitan ki taraf se tumhare dil me kisi tarah ka wasswasa paida ho to Allah se panah maango, beshak wo sunne wala aur sab kuch jaanne wala hai, jo log Allah se darr kar gunahon se bachte rehte hain, yani jin ke dil me taqwa hai, jab shaitan ke asar se koi bura khayal aata hai, ya wasswasa aata hai, to wo Allah ko yaad karne lag jaate hain…[33]
  • Phir Surah an-Nahl me farmaya ke, Aur Jab tum Quran parrhne lago, to Shaitan-e-mardood se Allah ki panah maan liya karo, ke jo momin hain aur jo apne paalne waale malik par bharosa karte hain, unn par uss ka kuch zor nahi chalta. Uss ka zor to unn hi logon par chalta hai jo uss ko apna dost banate hain, aur uss ke wasswason ke zariye se Allah ke saath doosron ko shareek karte hain.[34]
  • Hume chahiye ke, hum Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى) se dua karein, ussi tareeqe se jaisa ke Allah ne Quran me hukum diya hai,
    • Aur Aye Nabi (صلى الله عليه وسلم) dua kariye ke, Aye mere paalne waale Malik! main teri panah me aata hoon, Shayateen ki uksaahatton se, wasswason se, unn ke jhoot se, aur main teri panah me ata hoon aye mere Rabb, Aye mere paalne walay Malik ke, wo mere paas ayein.[35]
    • Aye Nabi (صلى الله عليه وسلم) aap keh dijiye! main panah maangta hoon Insanon ke Rabb se, insaano ke paalne wala malik se, Yani uss insano ke Rabb ke protection me aata hoon,[36]
    • Logon ke, yani insaano ke haqeeqi ya asli Badshah ki ya real King jo hai, uss ki (panah me aata hoon),[37]
    • Logon ke Ilaha, Insaano ke God, aise God jis ke siway koi aur supreme authority nahi hai iss kayenaat me, aise Ilaha ki panah me aate hoon,[38]
    • Uss baar baar wasswasa daalne wale aur pichhay hatt jaane waale ke shar se,[39]
    • Jo logon ke seeno me, unn ke dilon me wasswasa daalta hai,[40]
    • Jo Jinno me se bhi hai, aur insaano me se bhi.[41]

Issi hukum ke tehat, Rasoolullah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ne hume dua’en sikhayi:

  • Sab se pehle, aap (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ne Allah ki panah maangna sikhaya Shaitan mardood se, Auzoo Billahi min ash-Shaitani ar-Rajeem;
    • Ye kab kahenge?
    • Jab hum gusse me hon.[42]
    • Jis ko namaz me wasswase aye. Wo Auzoo billah parrhe, aur bayeen taraf phoonke, aur ye teen baar kare.[43]
    • Allahu Akbar keh kar Namaz shuru karte hi, aap (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ye parrha karte the, { أَعُوذُ بِاَللَّهِ اَلسَّمِيعِ اَلْعَلِيمِ مِنَ اَلشَّيْطَانِ اَلرَّجِيمِ , مِنْ هَمْزِهِ , وَنَفْخِهِ , وَنَفْثِهِ } – Main Panah mangta hoon Allah ki, jo sab kuch Sunnay wala aur Jannay wala hai, Shaitan se jo mardood hai, jisay pathar maar kar bhaga diya gaya hai, aur uss ke pagalpan se, uss ke wasswason se, uss ke phoonkne se, aur uss ke jaadoo se.[44]
    • Masjid me dakhil hote waqt ki dua’on me se ek dua, aap (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ne ye sikhayee ke, {أَعوذُ باللهِ العَظيـم وَبِوَجْهِـهِ الكَرِيـم وَسُلْطـانِه القَديـم مِنَ الشّيْـطانِ الرَّجـيم، [ بِسْـمِ الله، وَالصَّلاةُ وَالسَّلامُ عَلى رَسولِ الله]، اللّهُـمَّ افْتَـحْ لي أَبْوابَ رَحْمَتـِك}[45]
    • Masjid se nikalte waqt jo dua hum parrhte hain, uss ke baad {اللّهُـمَّ اعصِمْنـي مِنَ الشَّيْـطانِ الرَّجـيم} parrhna bhi aap (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ne hume sikhaya hai.[46]
    • Jo sotay me bura khwaab dekhe, wo teen baar bayeen janib phoonke, aur Allah ki panah maange, Shaitan-e-mardood se.[47]
    • Jab Gadhay ki pukaar suno to Allah ki panah maango, Shaitan se, kyun ke, gadhay ne shaitan ko dekha hai.[48]
    • Ek aur hadith me gadhon ki pukaar aur kutton ke bhonkne ki awaz ke baare me yehi hukum aya hai.[49]
    • Jab Bachcha paida hota hai, to wo iss liye rota hai, kyun ke, Shaitan ne usay chhuwa hai. Abu Hurairah (رَضِيَ ٱللَّٰهُ عَنْه) jo iss hadith ke raawi hain, farmate hain ke, agar tum chaho to aise waqt, Surah aal-Imran ki ye ayat tilawat karo, ‏{‏وَإِنِّي أُعِيذُهَا بِكَ وَذُرِّيَّتَهَا مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ ‏}‏ jo Maryam (عَلَيْها ٱلسَّلَام) ki waleda ne ki thi,[50] Aur main Allah ki panah maangti hoon iss ke liye aur iss ki aulad ke liye, Shaitan-e-mardood se.[51]
    • Jab oontt khareedo, to aap (صلى الله عليه وسلم) farmaya, uss ki kuhaan pakad kar yani uss ke hump ko pakdo aur Allah ki panah maango, Shaitan se.[52]
    • Ek muttafiqun alaih hadith, jo hum pehle bhi sunn chuke hain, farmaya Rasoolullah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ne ke, Shaitan insaan ke paas ata hai, aur poochta hai, ye kis ne paida kiya? wo kis ne paida kiya? yahan tak ke, wo poochhta hai ke, tumhare paalne waale malik ko kis ne paida kiya? jab ye sunay to phir Allah ki panah maangna chahiye aur sonchna band kar dena chahiye.[53]
    • Phir subah aur shaam ke azkaar me, jo dua’en aap (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ne sikhayee, unn me Allah ki panah maangi gayee,…, apni nafs se aur shaitan ke shar se aur uss ke saathiyon ke shar se.[54]
    • Sunan an-Nasai ki ek aur hadith me Rasoolullah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ne ek dua sikhayee, jis me aap ne tamam buraiyyon se Allah ki panah maangi, jis me maut ke waqt shaitan ke gumrah karne se bhi, Allah ki panah maangna sikhaya.[55]
    • Aap (صلى الله عليه وسلم) aksar dua karte apne nawason ke liye, Hassan aur Hussain ke liye, aur dua hum apne bachhon ke liye kar sakte hain. Main Allah ke behtareen kalimaat ke sath, tumhari hifazat chahta hoon, har shaitan aur janwar se, aur har hasad bhari malamat wali aankh se.[56]
    • Biwi se milte waqt ki bhi dua hai, jisme sab ke liye shaitan se hifazat ki dua aap (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ne sikhayi,[57]
    • Ghar se bahar nikalne ki dua’en aap (صلى الله عليه وسلم) hume sikhayi, jis se shaitan door bhaag jata hai.[58]
    • Aur ghar me dakhil hone ki dua aap (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ne sikhayi, jis se shaitan ghar me dakhil nahi hota.[59]
    • Gharz ye hai ke, har amal me, zikr me shaitan-e-mardood se bachao ki dua aap (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ne hume sikhayi, ye dua’en hisnul muslim me, aur sunnah.com par mil jayengi.
    • Ahadith bohot hain, 700 ke ooper ahadith shaitan par hain…

Sulaiman bin Surad (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: I was sitting with the Prophet (ﷺ) when two men began to quarrel and curse each other and the face of one of them turned red and the veins of his neck were swollen (from rage). Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, “I know of a word, if he were to utter that, his rage would vanish and that is: A’udhu billahi minash-Shaitan nir-rajim (I seek refuge with Allah from Satan, the accursed).” So they (Companions) said to him: “The Prophet (ﷺ) tells you to utter: ‘I seek refuge with Allah from Satan, the accursed”. [Al-Bukhariand Muslim].

وعن سليمان بن صرد رضي الله عنه قال‏:‏ كنت جالساً مع النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، ورجلان يستبان، وأحدهما قد احمر وجهه، وانتفخت أوداجه‏.‏ فقال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم‏:‏ ‏”‏ إني لأعلم كلمة لو قالها لذهب عنه ما يجد، لو قال‏:‏ أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم ذهب منه ما يجد‏”‏‏.‏ فقال له‏:‏ إن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال‏:‏ ‏”‏ تعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم‏”‏ ‏(‏‏(‏متفق عليه‏)‏‏)‏ ‏.‏

[43] A`ūdhu billāhi minash-shayṭānir-rajīm. (Say:) I seek refuge in Allah from Satan the outcast (then blow with a little spittle to your left). (Do this three times reciting in Arabic.) [Reference: Muslim 4/1729]

أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنَ الشَّيطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ، وَاتْفُلْ عَلَى يَسَارِكَ (ثلاثاً)

Uthman b. Abu al-‘As reported that he came to Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) and said: Allah’s Messenger, the Satan intervenes between me and my prayer and my reciting of the Qur’an and he confounds me. Thereupon Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) said:, That is (the doing of a) Satan (devil) who is known as Khinzab, and when you perceive its effect, seek refuge with Allah from it and spit three times to your left. I did that and Allah dispelled that from me.

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ خَلَفٍ الْبَاهِلِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الأَعْلَى، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْجُرَيْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي، الْعَلاَءِ أَنَّ عُثْمَانَ بْنَ أَبِي الْعَاصِ، أَتَى النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ قَدْ حَالَ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَ صَلاَتِي وَقِرَاءَتِي يَلْبِسُهَا عَلَىَّ ‏.‏ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏ “‏ ذَاكَ شَيْطَانٌ يُقَالُ لَهُ خِنْزِبٌ فَإِذَا أَحْسَسْتَهُ فَتَعَوَّذْ بِاللَّهِ مِنْهُ وَاتْفِلْ عَلَى يَسَارِكَ ثَلاَثًا ‏”‏ ‏.‏ قَالَ فَفَعَلْتُ ذَلِكَ فَأَذْهَبَهُ اللَّهُ عَنِّي ‏.‏

Allāhu ‘Akbar Kabīra [3 times], walḥamdu lillāhi kathīra [3 times], wa Subḥānallāhi bukratan wa’aṣīla [3 times], ‘A `ūdhu billāhi min ash-shayṭān min nafkhihi, wa nafthihi, wa hamzihi. Allah is the Greatest, Most Great [3 times], Praise is to Allah, abundantly [3 times], Glory is to Allah, at the break of day and at its end [3 times], I seek refuge in Allah from Satan, From his breath, and from his voice, and from his whisper. [Reference: Abu Dawud 1/203, Ibn Majah 1/265, ai Ahmad 4/85. Muslim recorded a similar Hadil 1/420.

اللهُ أَكْبَـرُ كَبـيرا ، اللهُ أَكْبَـرُ كَبـيرا ، اللهُ أَكْبَـرُ كَبـيرا ، وَالْحَـمْدُ للهِ كَثـيرا ، وَالْحَـمْدُ للهِ كَثـيرا ، وَالْحَـمْدُ للهِ كَثـيرا ، وَسُبْـحانَ اللهِ بكْـرَةً وَأَصيـلا.( ثَلاثاً ) أَعـوذُ بِاللهِ مِنَ الشَّـيْطانِ مِنْ نَفْخِـهِ وَنَفْـثِهِ وَهَمْـزِه

[44] He (ﷺ) used to say after the (opening) Takbir (for prayer), “I seek refuge in Allah, the All-Hearing and the All-Knowing from the accursed devil, from his madness or evil suggestion (Hamz), from his puffing up (Nafkh), and from his witchcraft (Nafth).”

وَفِيهِ : وَكَانَ يَقُولُ بَعْدَ اَلتَّكْبِيرِ : { أَعُوذُ بِاَللَّهِ اَلسَّمِيعِ اَلْعَلِيمِ مِنَ اَلشَّيْطَانِ اَلرَّجِيمِ , مِنْ هَمْزِهِ , وَنَفْخِهِ , وَنَفْثِهِ } – أما هذا اللفظ فهو صحيح .‏ فقد روي عن جماعة غير أبي سعيد ، بالإضافة إلى بعض المراسيل ، وقد ذكرتها كلها مفصلة “بالأصل” .‏ وعند بعضهم ‏- كأبي داود ‏- تفسير من بعض الرواة : “نفخه: الكبر .‏ وهمزه : الموت .‏ ونفثه : الشعر”.‏

[45] ‘A`ūdhu billāhi l-`aẓīm, wa bi-wajhihil-karīm, wa sultānihil-qadīm, min ash-shaytānir-rajīm. [Bismillāhi, wassalātu wassalāmu `alā rasūlillāhi.] Allāhummaftaḥ lī ‘abwāba raḥmatik. I seek refuge in Almighty Allah, By His Noble Face, By His primordial power, From Satan the outcast.-1; [In the Name of Allah, and blessings-2; and peace be upon the Messenger of Allah.-3; O Allah, open before me the doors of Your mercy.-4; [Reference: 1. Abu Dawud and Al-Albani, Sahihul-Jami’ As-Saghir (Hadith No. 4591). 2. Ibn As-Sunni (Hadith no. 88), graded good by Al-Albani. 3. Abu Dawud 1/126, see also Al-Albani, Sahihul-Jami As-Saghir 1/528. 4. Muslim 1/494.] There is also a report in Sunan Ibn Majah on the authority of Fatimah (RA), : “O Allah, forgive me my sins and open for me the doors of Your mercy.” It was graded authentic by Al-Albani due to supporting Ahadith. See Sahih Ibn Majah 1/128-9.

أَعوذُ باللهِ العَظيـم وَبِوَجْهِـهِ الكَرِيـم وَسُلْطـانِه القَديـم مِنَ الشّيْـطانِ الرَّجـيم، [ بِسْـمِ الله، وَالصَّلاةُ وَالسَّلامُ عَلى رَسولِ الله]، اللّهُـمَّ افْتَـحْ لي أَبْوابَ رَحْمَتـِك

Reference: Hisn al-Muslim 20

‘Abdallah b. ‘Amr b. al-‘As said that God’s Messenger used to say on entering the mosque, “I seek refuge in God the mighty, in His noble being, and in His power which is from everlasting from the accursed devil.” He said that when the devil heard that he said, “He is protected from me for the rest of the day.” [Abu Dawud transmitted it]

وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ قَالَ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ إِذا دخل الْمَسْجِد قَالَ: «أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ الْعَظِيمِ وَبِوَجْهِهِ الْكَرِيمِ وَسُلْطَانِهِ الْقَدِيمِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ» قَالَ: «فَإِذَا قَالَ ذَلِكَ قَالَ الشَّيْطَان حفظ مني سَائِر الْيَوْم» . رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد – حكم: صَحِيحٌ (الألباني)

[46] Bismillāhi waṣṣalātu wassalāmu ‘alā Rasūlillāhi, Allāhumma ‘innī ‘as’aluka min faḍlika, Allāhumma`ṣimnī min ash-shaytānir-rajīm. In the Name of Allah, and peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah. O Allah, I ask for Your favor, O Allah, protect me from Satan the outcast. [Reference: ibid]

بِسمِ الله وَالصّلاةُ وَالسّلامُ عَلى رَسولِ الله، اللّهُـمَّ إِنّـي أَسْأَلُكَ مِـنْ فَضْـلِك، اللّهُـمَّ اعصِمْنـي مِنَ الشَّيْـطانِ الرَّجـيم

Reference: Hisn al-Muslim 21

[47] Abu Qatadah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “A good vision (dream) is from Allah and a bad dream is from the Satan. He who sees something in a dream that he dislikes, should blow thrice on his left, must seek Allah’s Refuge from the evil of the Satan (i.e., by saying: A’udhu billahi minash-Shaitanir-Rajim). Then it will not harm him.” [Al-Bukhari and Muslim].

وعن أبى قتادة رضى الله عنه قال‏:‏ قال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم‏:‏ ‏ “‏الرؤيا الصالحة -وفى رواية‏:‏ الرؤيا الحسنة- من الله، والحلم من الشيطان، فمن رأى شيئاً يكره فلينفث عن شماله ثلاثاً، وليتعوذ من الشيطان فإنها لا تضره‏”‏ (( مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيهِ)). ‏النفث‏ ‏ نفخ لطيف لا ريق معه‏.‏

Spit to your left (three times).1; Seek refuge in Allah from the Devil and from the evil of what you have seen

يَنْفُثُ عَنْ يَسَارِهِ (ثلاثاً). يَسْتَعِيذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنَ الشَّيطَانِ وَمِنْ شَرِّ مَا رَأَى (ثَلاَثَ مَرَّاتٍ). لاَ يُحَدِّثْ بِهَا أَحَداً. يَــتَحَوَّلُ عَنْ جَنْبِهِ الَّذِي كَانَ عَلَيْهِ.

Reference: Hisn al-Muslim 114

Narrated Abu Qatada: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “A good dream is from Allah, and a bad dream is from Satan. So whoever has seen (in a dream) something he dislikes, then he should spit without saliva, thrice on his left and seek refuge with Allah from Satan, for it will not harm him, and Satan cannot appear in my shape.”

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏ “‏ الرُّؤْيَا الصَّالِحَةُ مِنَ اللَّهِ، وَالْحُلْمُ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ، فَمَنْ رَأَى شَيْئًا يَكْرَهُهُ فَلْيَنْفِثْ عَنْ شِمَالِهِ ثَلاَثًا، وَلْيَتَعَوَّذْ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ، فَإِنَّهَا لاَ تَضُرُّهُ، وَإِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ لاَ يَتَرَاءَى بِي ‏”‏‏.‏

[48] When you hear the cock’s crow, ask Allah for His favor upon you for surely it has seen an angel. When you hear the bray of a donkey, seek refuge in Allah from Satan, for surely it has seen a devil. [Reference: Al-Bukhari, cf. Al-Asqalani, Fathul-Bari 6/350, Muslim 4/2092.]

إِذَا سَمِعْتُمْ صِيَاحَ الدِّيَكَةِ فَاسْأَلُوا اللَّهَ مِنْ فَضْلِهِ؛ فَإِنَّهَا رَأَتْ مَلَكاً وَإِذَا سَمِعْتُمْ نَهِيقَ الْحِمَارِ فَتَعَوَّذُوا بِاللَّهِ مِنَ الشَّيطَانِ؛ فَإِنَّهُ رَأَى شَيْطَاناً

Reference: Hisn al-Muslim 228

[49] Jabir told of hearing God’s messenger say, “When you hear the barking of dogs and the braying of asses at night seek refuge in God from the accursed devil, for they see what you do not see. Do not go out much when there are few people about, for God who is great and glorious scatters abroad such of His creatures as He wishes at night* Shut the doors, making mention of God’s name, for the devil does not open a door which has been shut accompanied by mention of God’s name. Cover up jars, invert vessels and tie up buckets.” [It is transmitted in Sharh as-sunna]

عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «إِذَا سَمِعْتُمْ نُبَاحَ الْكِلَابِ وَنَهِيقَ الْحَمِيرِ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ فَتَعَوَّذُوا بِاللَّهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ فَإِنَّهُنَّ يَرَيْنَ مَا لَا تَرَوْنَ. وَأَقِلُّوا الْخُرُوجَ إِذَا هَدَأَتِ الْأَرْجُلُ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ يَبُثُّ مِنْ خَلْقِهِ فِي لَيْلَتِهِ مَا يَشَاءُ وَأَجِيفُوا الْأَبْوَابَ وَاذْكُرُوا اسْمَ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ فَإِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ لَا يَفْتَحُ بَابًا إِذَا أُجِيفَ وَذُكِرَ اسْمُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ وَغَطُّوا الْجِرَارَ وَأَكْفِئُوا الْآنِيَةَ وأوكوا الْقرب» . رَوَاهُ فِي شرح السّنة – حكم: لم تتمّ دراسته (الألباني)

[51] Narrated Sa`id bin Al-Musaiyab: Abu Huraira said, “The Prophet (ﷺ) said, ‘No child is born but that, Satan touches it when it is born whereupon it starts crying loudly because of being touched by Satan, except Mary and her son.” Abu Huraira then said, “Recite, if you wish: “And I seek Refuge with You (Allah) for her and her offspring from Satan, the outcast.” (3.36)

حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏”‏ مَا مِنْ مَوْلُودٍ يُولَدُ إِلاَّ وَالشَّيْطَانُ يَمَسُّهُ حِينَ يُولَدُ، فَيَسْتَهِلُّ صَارِخًا مِنْ مَسِّ الشَّيْطَانِ إِيَّاهُ، إِلاَّ مَرْيَمَ وَابْنَهَا ‏”‏‏.‏ ثُمَّ يَقُولُ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ وَاقْرَءُوا إِنْ شِئْتُمْ ‏{‏وَإِنِّي أُعِيذُهَا بِكَ وَذُرِّيَّتَهَا مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ ‏}‏

[52] Yahya related to me from Malik from Zayd ibn Aslam that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, “When you marry a woman or buy a slave-girl, take her by the forelock and ask for baraka. When you buy a camel, take the top of its hump, and seek refuge with Allah from Shaytan.”

حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏ “‏ إِذَا تَزَوَّجَ أَحَدُكُمُ الْمَرْأَةَ أَوِ اشْتَرَى الْجَارِيَةَ فَلْيَأْخُذْ بِنَاصِيَتِهَا وَلْيَدْعُ بِالْبَرَكَةِ وَإِذَا اشْتَرَى الْبَعِيرَ فَلْيَأْخُذْ بِذِرْوَةِ سَنَامِهِ وَلْيَسْتَعِذْ بِاللَّهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ ‏”‏ ‏.‏

[53] He also reported God’s messenger as saying, “The devil comes to one of you saying, ‘Who created this? Who created that?’ even saying, ‘Who created your Lord?’ “When he gets that length the man should seek refuge in God and stop thinking about it.” [Bukhari and Muslim]

وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: ” يَأْتِي الشَّيْطَانُ أَحَدَكُمْ فَيَقُولُ: مَنْ خلق كَذَا؟ مَنْ خَلَقَ كَذَا؟ حَتَّى يَقُولَ: مَنْ خَلَقَ رَبَّكَ؟ فَإِذَا بَلَغَهُ فَلْيَسْتَعِذْ بِاللَّهِ وَلْيَنْتَهِ ” حكم: مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ (الألباني و زبیر علی زئی)

[54] Allāhumma `ālima ‘l-ghaybi wash-shahādah, fātir as-samāwāti wa ‘l’arḍ, Rabba kulli shay’in wa malīkah, ash-hadu an lā ilāha illā ant, a`ūdhu bika min sharri nafsī, wa min sharrish-shayṭāni wa shirkih, wa an aqtarifa `alā nafsī sū’an, aw ajurrahu ilā Muslim. O Allah, Knower of the unseen and the evident, Maker of the heavens and the earth, Lord of everything and its Possessor, I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but You. اللّهُـمَّ عالِـمَ الغَـيْبِ وَالشّـهادَةِ فاطِـرَ السّماواتِ وَالأرْضِ رَبَّ كـلِّ شَـيءٍ وَمَليـكَه ، أَشْهَـدُ أَنْ لا إِلـهَ إِلاّ أَنْت ، أَعـوذُ بِكَ مِن شَـرِّ نَفْسـي وَمِن شَـرِّ الشَّيْـطانِ وَشِـرْكِه ، وَأَنْ أَقْتَـرِفَ عَلـى نَفْسـي سوءاً أَوْ أَجُـرَّهُ إِلـى مُسْـلِم

Allāhumma `ālima ‘l-ghaybi wash-shahādah, fātiras-samāwāti wa ‘l-ardh, Rabba kulli shay’in wa malīkah, ash-hadu an lā ilāha illā ant, a`ūdhu bika min sharri nafsī, wa min sharrish-shayṭāni wa shirkih, wa an aqtarifa `alā nafsī sū’an, aw ajurrahu ilā Muslim. O Allah, Knower of the unseen and the evident, Maker of the heavens and the earth, Lord of everything and its Master, I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but You. [55] It was narrated that Abu Al-Yasar said: “The Messenger of Allah [SAW] used to say: ‘Allahumma inni a’udhu bika minat-taraddi, wal-hadmi, wal-gharaqi, wal-hariqi, wa a’udhu bika, an yatakhabbatanish-shaitanu ‘indal-mawti, wa a’udhu bika an amuta fi sabilika mudbiran, wa a’udhu bika an amuta ladigha (O Allah, I seek refuge with You from being thrown from a high place or crushed beneath a falling wall, or drowning or being burned, and I seek refuge with You from being led astray by the Shaitan at the time of death, and I seek refuge with You from dying in Your cause while fleeing from the battlefield, and I seek refuge with You from dying of a scorpion sting.)'”

أَخْبَرَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلاَنَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ مُوسَى، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ صَيْفِيٍّ، مَوْلَى أَبِي أَيُّوبَ عَنْ أَبِي الْيَسَرِ، قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ ‏ “‏ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ التَّرَدِّي وَالْهَدْمِ وَالْغَرَقِ وَالْحَرِيقِ وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ أَنْ يَتَخَبَّطَنِي الشَّيْطَانُ عِنْدَ الْمَوْتِ وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ أَنْ أَمُوتَ فِي سَبِيلِكَ مُدْبِرًا وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ أَنْ أَمُوتَ لَدِيغًا ‏”‏ ‏.‏

[56] The Prophet (ﷺ) used to seek Allah’s protection for Al-Hasan and Al-Husain by saying: U`īthukumā bikalimāti ‘llāhit-tāmmati, min kulli shayṭānin wa hāmmah, wa min kulli `aynin lāmmah. I seek protection for you in the Perfect Words of Allah from every devil and every beast, and from every envious blameworthy eye. [Reference: Al-Bukhari4/119]

كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يعوذ الحسن والحسين ” أعيذكما بكلمات الله التامة ، من كل شيطان وهامة ، ومن كل عينِ لامة “

[57] Ibn ‘Abbas (May Allah be pleased with them) reported: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “If anyone intends to have (sexual intercourse) with his wife, he should say: “Bismillah! Allahumma janibnash-Shaitana, wa jannibish-Shaitana ma razaqtana (In the Name of Allah, O Allah! Keep us away from Satan and keep Satan away from what You have bestowed upon us);’ and if Allah has ordained a child for them, Satan will never harm him.” [Al-Bukhari and Muslim].

وعن ابن عباس رضي الله عنهما عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال‏:‏ ‏ “‏لو أن أحدكم إذا أتى أهله قال‏:‏ بسم الله، اللهم جنبنا الشيطان وجنب الشيطان ما رزقتنا، فقضى بينهما ولد لم يضره ‏”‏ ‏(‏‏(‏متفق عليه‏)‏‏)‏‏.‏

Narrated Ibn `Abbas: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “If anyone of you, when having sexual relation with his wife, say: ‘In the name of Allah. O Allah! Protect us from Satan and prevent Satan from approaching our offspring you are going to give us,’ and if he begets a child (as a result of that relation) Satan will not harm it.”

حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ، عَنْ كُرَيْبٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏ “‏ أَمَا إِنَّ أَحَدَكُمْ إِذَا أَتَى أَهْلَهُ وَقَالَ بِسْمِ اللَّهِ اللَّهُمَّ جَنِّبْنَا الشَّيْطَانَ، وَجَنِّبِ الشَّيْطَانَ مَا رَزَقْتَنَا‏.‏ فَرُزِقَا وَلَدًا، لَمْ يَضُرُّهُ الشَّيْطَانُ ‏”‏‏.‏

Ibn” Abbas (Allah be pleased with thern) reported that Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) said: If anyone amongst you intends to go to his wife he should say: In the name of Allah,0 Allah protect us against Satan and keep away the Satan from the one that you have bestowed upon us, and if He has ordained a male child for them, Satan will never be able to do any harm to him.

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى، وَإِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، – وَاللَّفْظُ لِيَحْيَى – قَالاَ أَخْبَرَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنْ كُرَيْبٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏ “‏ لَوْ أَنَّ أَحَدَهُمْ إِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَأْتِيَ أَهْلَهُ قَالَ بِاسْمِ اللَّهِ اللَّهُمَّ جَنِّبْنَا الشَّيْطَانَ وَجَنِّبِ الشَّيْطَانَ مَا رَزَقْتَنَا فَإِنَّهُ إِنْ يُقَدَّرْ بَيْنَهُمَا وَلَدٌ فِي ذَلِكَ لَمْ يَضُرَّهُ شَيْطَانٌ أَبَدًا ‏”‏‏.‏

[58] Anas reported God’s messenger as saying that when a man goes out of his house and says, “In the name of God; I trust in God; there is no might and no power but in God,” the following will be said to him at that time, “You are guided, defended and protected.” The devil will go far from him and another devil will say, “How can you deal with a man who has been guided, defended and protected?” [Abu Dawud transmitted it, and Tirmidhi transmitted up to “the devil will go far from him.”]

وَعَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: ” إِذَا خَرَجَ الرَّجُلُ مِنْ بَيْتِهِ فَقَالَ: بِسْمِ اللَّهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَى اللَّهِ لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ يُقَالُ لَهُ حِينَئِذٍ هُدِيتَ وَكُفِيتَ وَوُقِيتَ فَيَتَنَحَّى لَهُ الشَّيْطَانُ وَيَقُولُ شَيْطَانٌ آخَرُ: كَيْفَ لَكَ بِرَجُلٍ قَدْ هُدِيَ وَكُفِيَ وَوُقِيَ “. رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ وروى التِّرْمِذِيّ إِلى قَوْله: «الشَّيْطَان – حكم :لم تتمّ دراسته (الألباني)

[59] Bismillāhi walajnā, wa bismillāhi kharajnā, wa `ala Rabbinā tawakkalnā. In the Name of Allah we enter, in the Name of Allah we leave , and upon our Lord we depend [then say As-Salāmu `Alaykum to those present].

Reference: Abu Dawud 4/325. Muslim {Hadith no. 2018) says that one should mention the Name of Allah when entering the home and when beginning to eat; and that the devil, hearing this, says: “There is no shelter for us here tonight and no food.”

بِسْـمِ اللهِ وَلَجْنـا، وَبِسْـمِ اللهِ خَـرَجْنـا، وَعَلـى رَبِّنـا تَوَكّلْـن (ثم ليسلم على أهله.)
